I can't get my kitten to listen to me when I say no! It gets me so frustrated, and he's still very destructive as of right now, only 3 months old. I've tried a variety of scratch posts and toys, which he likes--but he likes ripping open plastic bags and tearing up my shoes better. Any advice?

I think only big dogs can tell if you are a good person. Small dogs are obnoxious and would bark and growl at Jesus if he tried to offer them a piece of bacon.

My friend's dog has been vomiting and having diarrhea last week. We sent the dog to the hospital, and they said the livers are "overheated". He went into ultrasound, and other examination that doesn't require a surgery. The results are back today, and they couldn't find anything he is diagnosed with. They made sure that it is not cancer or anything that can be seen. The dog will be going into a surgery tomorrow for taking samples of the liver. But the examination will take a week. If they couldn't find out whats happening, we have to let the dog go. I wonder if there is any professionals here or dog owners have had the same experience, and can give me some advice.

We fed him. He eats and drinks. He is purring, seems happy. I plan to take him to vet in the morning. Besides keeping him warm, what else can I do?

I have a female, 8 month old, min pin/chihuahua mix. We usually keep her in her crate during the day with her bed and toys, but if it's on the weekend and we'll only be gone for an hour or two we'll keep her in the bedroom and leave the TV on and shut the door. It never fails, when we return she has torn something up. It started with the carpet. She has dug up a nice area in the carpeting. She also chews on the corners of our dresser and bed. She has since graduated to taking the floor mat from the bathroom and likes the tear into it on top of the bed (she even tries to do that when we're in the room). We leave a clean pee-pad on the floor next to a little bowl of water since summer's here. She doesn't pee on the carpet, we just leave the pad in case. She rips that up though. We come home to shredded, still clean, pee-pads all over! What can we do so she will chew on her toys and leave everything else alone??

My cat is 14 years old. She's a lovely old dear, very spritely for her age. We just had her desexed (she'd always lived indoors so it wasn't a huge issue) and when they shaved her they found a blue spot/blur from one of her nipples toward her private bits. I mean true blue, like biro ink.

The spot is UNDER the skin, it is not a discolouration of the skin itself.

The vet said it hasn't changed shape, size or colour and is not a worry. He also said none of the vets know what it is! Some of the things he thinks it COULD be are an old internal tearing of the inner layers of skin due to her previous life before I owned her OR it could be something to do with her mammary gland. Whatever it is, he said she's too old to go probing around inside her to find out what it is unless absolutely necessary (changes to shape, size or colour).

Does anyone have any ideas/previous knowledge on this kind of anomalie?

I have had both of these color dogs before. They both are very pretty. What color do you choose?

I have a big goldfish that is about 7 inches and whenever I clean out his tank and put new water in then put him in the clean tank, he just barely sits around all day. He won't eat anything for over a week, and just after a week he will finally start to swim around a little bit.

Does anybody have any idea of why my fish acts this way? You would think he would be swimming and darting around right away, happy to have the clean water instead of the yucky groggy water. I use the reverse osmosis water from the store and get the refillable jugs, if that means anything, but it's just weird that he acts so strange for the first couple of weeks and he's fine after that. But he won't eat anything at first, it takes quite a while for him to come around after I clean out his tank.
