What can cause a rat to cough and be listless?

Marilyn seemed to be very ill for a couple of days.........He's about a year old, and there were no dietary changes. He's fine now....could it be the litter I am using? I switched from recycled paper to a woodchip style, as his urine was EXTREMELY strong, and the paper style wasn't absorbing the odor. Thoughts?

And before anyone asks, he's named Marilyn after Marilyn Manson.

Do u think its better to spay your pet or not?

I think that u can do what ever u want to do.
My mama got our outside dogs spayed but not our Chihuahua Cricket because we r hoping to get a male & a couple of females to breed. I luv puppies so I can't say I'm for it but I can't say I'm against it.

Need to find a home for newly adopted dog, Boone. He is 45 lbs and great. 5 yrs old. My heart breaks!! Help?

New landlord won't accept pets over 25 lbs. He has all shots, license, is well-trained, and well-behaved. Black, except for chest freckles of white-part lab, part dalmation?? Very lean about 3 feet high. You will not be sorry-gets along with cats. Moving within 2 weeks, got screwed by a realtor who said all pets were ok. Please help. I will really miss him.

i just accidentally stepped on my pet rabbit...?

Boston Terrier Pregnancies?

My boston terrier is due any day now and I would like to know if anyone has had a boston terrier that has been pregnant. If so, please share how they delivered and if everything went ok. I am very scared and a nervous wreck waiting for this to happen. I am afraid that something will go wrong.

I have some questions about exotic pet permits in California.?

Ok here goes:
1. Are you allowed to have an exotic pet permit/wildlife permit or license in California for a house pet? (not zoo/aquarium)
2. Where do I apply? (can I print out the form on the web?)
3. How much would that cost?
4. So if I have the permit for instance an illegal prairie dog, I can still get one right?

Will it hurt my kitten to eat table food?

Whenever my kitten sees me eating she climbs on my shoulder and wants to eat whatever I'm eating. I let her taste my chicken noodle soup today and she loved it. Tonight she wanted some spaghetti. I don't mind giving her some food, I just don't want to harm her or start unhealthy habits.

what makes a pitbull eat her puppies?

my dog had some puppies today and she was eating them while she was having them we were able to save 4 of the puppies but she ate 4. I have two other pits that just had puppies and they did not eat they puppies they took care of them and they all were eating the same dogfood. I just do not understand this dog because she is a good dog other than that I had to get rid of her cause not only was she eating her puppies she was trying to eat my other dogs puppies so that is why I am trying so hard to get this question answer. Cause I need to know what to do to save my puppies. Cause I do not want to lose any of my puppies.
