I love dogs, but then again I love cats too. Which one would you choose?

I vote for cats :) I've had both and cats are definitely a lot easier to take care of. Once you show them where the litter box is, they're trained and you don't have to let them outside every few hours. With a cat you can also leave for the weekend (make sure you plenty of food and water) without having finding a pet sitter. My cat is also trained that when she wants soft food, she just sit at the kitchen table on a chair... Cats are just as loyal as dogs...

I would say a dog if I must choose but I have 1 dog and 2 cats, but that is because I took in the 2nd cat from some one who did not like animals and had it pushed on her.

i have 5 parakeets,,2 finches and 2 lovebirds so i would have to say a dog.....besides i can't take cat hairs everywhere. dogs don't jump up on the shelves as cats do. we have a problem with the neighbors cat sleeping on the lawn chairs..before we sit on them we have to dust them off. but don't get me wrong..i think cats are so funny at times and really pretty. we lived in a farmhouse for 10 yrs and we had 19 cats...of course they were outside cats !!!

Gotta go with the dogs. Cats are lazy and scratch the couches. And cat litter boxes stink.

I have a cat (pictured). I don't like the thought of having to take a dog out to potty. My Unser does it all by himself in his liter box. And cats are more clean and sanitary than dogs. Dogs are cute, but....Oh, and cats don't bark!

Definitely a dog. Cats can be rude and self centered. Dogs are friendly and loyal.
