A kitten is simply trying to establish her dominance. You are "Mom". The next time she bites you, pick her up by the scruff of the neck, shake her (gently) and put her down away from you saying "No!' sternly. A mother cat's behavior is similar when they discipline their kittens. You won't hurt her and you'll show her who's boss. Good luck.

Every time your kitten bites something you don't want her to bite, spray her with clean water from a spray bottle. I used a plant watering spray bottle when my cats were kittens. Kittens don't usually like to be sprayed with water and will soon stop biting.

Make a loud meow and stop playing with the cat. A bite means it is over stimulated.

Say this to him, softly and he'll understand:
"meee owwww meow.... meowwwww meeoooo wwww then a real long meeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"
If he bites you hard after that, it's cause you just told him to but, the good part is....he understood you. From there, it gets only better cause... i forget but anyway... bye

you can purchase a spray at your local pet store that is sprayed on anything you don't want her to nibble on. cats are very hard to train because they do not respond well to discipline. if she bites you hold her mouth shut gently and use a strong voice to correct her. she may or may not respond. my cat does most of the time.

I would say buying something that is catnip scented, and letting her play with it, chances are she may eat it. is she biting you? just give her a lite pop on the bum, not 2 hard, though.

Mine is doing the same thing. I think she'll grow out of it though.. at least that's what I'm hoping with mine. You could always try spraying her with a bottle of water when she does it.

she's just playing, eventually she will become a full grown cat and have the cat attitude where she couldn't care less if you're in the room or not as long as you keep her food bowl full.

you could try to discipline her when she bites but I think they have to grow out of it.
