I am planning on going to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis & St. Paul) demonstration in Minnesota that will correspond with one in DC protesting the war.

I wanted to hold a board that said "NO MORE BU... SH... IN IRAQ" as in BS, Bush, but I'm afraid that it might be misinterpreted as

"this guy only wants a different pro-war Republican in power, since bush only has a year left."

What do you think is a powerful, eye-catching and unmistakable slogan, and why? Or do you think I should go with the other one?

Thanks!

For liberal Democrats, is that just something they cannot do? Or is it something they really hope do not happen? The President went into Iraq today, with staff and into one of the places once given up for "lost". But now it is safe. And there is hope of beginning to bring our troops home.

Still I see on the news and on the internet, many liberals discount it, downplay it, even bad-mouth it...but why? Should we not ALL hope this is coming together and working and a tribute to our brave troop's sacrifice?

I think so.

Seriously? I've never seen such one-sided crap in my life. Unfortunately, my parents subscribe to a pay tv network owned by God himself - Rupert Murdoch (Foxtel) so I'm subjected to this diatribe on a daily basis even though I live in Australia.

They are the worst journalists I have ever seen
You can predict what their angle will be on every single issue before it comes out of their mouths
They are transparently right-wing and pro-christian
They use the emotion card all the time
They sensationalise

Basically, they are like a gossip magazine for domestic and world events

FAIR AND BALANCED???? Are you serious??? I mean are these people in touch with reality or what?? Be a republican humping station whose broadcasts are permeated with agendas if you wish but dont you DARE claim to be fair and balanced.

And the sad thing, is I've noticed a lot of Australian and British Journalists are starting to emulate the Fox style of reporting!!!!

What do you guys think?

Iran's leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has announced that Iran now has 3000 uranium enrichment centrifuges running throughout Iran. Does anyone have any idea how long it will be before Iran acquires a nuclear bomb?

Do you believe Iran should be allowed to be a nuclear power?

Everyone beats down on Bush, but what on earth does everyone want him to do??? The entire world is gravitating towards war: someone has to fight, someone has to save us all from these terrorists that are mucking up our lives and I think Bush has the right approach.

America's a big and powerful country and we as the world count on it to fight on our behalf.

George W. Bush is a noble man to me. What do you guys think?

Our UPA Indian Prime Minister is doing a good job. But then all are talking LEFT. I know that UPA Prime Minister has not LEFT yet!!! But all say left is right!!! When UPA left is right and UPA right is also right UPA should survive full 5 years in office. Will UPA survive for the full term of 5 years? It is a million dollar question!!!

According to the timesonline, he will be going back to his old job.
Is this ethically right or is there a problem with someone working in such a prominent position who has such a bad sense of judgement and risk.

A New York State University team quizzed over 1,000 students, finding women place a big emphasis on kissing. They use kissing as a way of assessing the recipient as a potential partner, and later to maintain intimacy and to check the status of a relationship. But men placed less importance on it, using it to increase the likelihood of sex. The questionnaires revealed men were less discriminating when it came to deciding who to kiss or who to have sex with. They were more willing to have sex with someone without kissing, to have sex with someone they are not attracted to and agree to have sex with someone they considered to be a bad kisser.

There is a clear link between crimes such as burglary, robbery, and muggings and drug use. Drug addicts will commit these crimes to get the money for their next fix.

If hard drugs such as heroin were available legally by prescription, would this help curb crime figures, as addicts would know where their next fix was coming from, and would not need to resort to crime to get it? It could also stop the helpless downward spiral of crime meaning addicts would not have criminal records stopping them from gaining employment.

We vilified our French & German allies for not wanting in on this war( how right they were). We heaped scorn on the Spanish when they excercised their right to vote to withdraw from a war their former president had entered against the overwhelming wish of the people. Now we are complaining about the British withdrawal. These countries pointed out that this war would increase terrorism ,strengthen popular support in the Muslim world for extremism and make it impossible for the voice of moderate Islam to be heard. They have been proven correct on all counts.

The war has benefited one country only. This country has been clamouring for another war - on Iran. However, this country doesn´t have a single soldier fighting in Iraq and will send none to Iran. Which country? Well, try ¨our only true ally¨in the middle east.
Why isn´t it rattling its nuclear sabres( it DOES have nuclear weapons) at Iran? Perhaps because it knows it can get us to do the dirty work for it as usual.

Since the Death sentence was abolished there has been a huge rise in the number of murders and acts of terrorism commited in this country.Recently the number of murders committed , almost daily have been mindblowing.A life sentence..............now as short as ten years is a joke....my suggestion is very simple...........after a suspect is found guilty...........of murder....or terrorism...they are held in custody for one year.........then tried..before a jury again ..if they are then found guilty .........they are put to death...........either hanging..........or lethal injection. How many of you think that this would stop the almost casual use of lethal force by an ever increasing number of criminals

I am an iranian living in america, and it makes me sick to see people make fun of iran, when they dont know anything about it.They think it is a carbon copy of iraq. They think we live in the desert with camels and such. They think we are muslim terrorists that go and blow up people.Well not one terrorist event around the world involved an iranian.Believe it or not, we are not even that religious. The government tries to shove religion down our throats but we dont care.People dont care about islam that much anymore.
My moms uncle, who is in his 60's, hasnt been to iran in over 40 years. He, just like many americans, is brainwashed to believe terrorist things about iran.I asked him why he doesnt go back to iran and he said that he cant bear to see a 5 year old holding a rifle.I was shocked when he said this. The last time i went to iran was 4 years ago and there is no such thing. I'm sure if i asked you guys to go check out iran, you would refuse because its too dangerous. and i agree for
