Landfall on August 29, 2005. It was a Monday. Started around 7:30, didn't end until 5 or so, and even then the gusts were strong enough to nearly blow down a teenaged girl.
God, I won't ever forget that date, will I?

I would know because the summer of 2004 i went to new orlands, and i was really happy cause i got to see it like RIGHT before it was destroyed. remember on the news they were talking about how they helicoptered that albino crocodile out of NO so that it would survive the huricane? Ya, i got to see it. Its was real lazy... O_O
Its kinda sad, acutually, because I made some friends who lived around that area, and I'm not sure if they're all right or not...
