The US will always be popular like many European countries are but it won't have the economic power or the economic alliances it once had. It won't be able to use its military to pressure other countries as it has for a long time. What does 'superpower' mean nowadays anyways?
Ross Perot said we would hear a sucking sound of US production going to Mexico with NAFTA. He was wrong we can't hear that because the sucking sound coming from China sucking business opportunities away from countries around the globe is deafening.

Not long? Russia will probably emerge as a superpower again with its new found vast natural resources and control of energy within Europe. GO Puttin! Muslims- Possible. China seems also highly likely but thats if they don't destroy themselves from all the population first and harm that is caused as an effect of its rapid expansion.

Do you want to vote for someone? I get tired of these high taxes for supporting the "war effort" I did my share in 'Nam with two years in country.
My Uncles, my dad, all my cousins, we all did our share, even some of the girls. We're all tired of being a "world police force"
My grandson has been in Iraq for over three years now, another grandson is fifteen, he asks me where he'll be sent. I keep telling him I'll break his legs if he tries to enlist, I served his duty for him in 'Nam.
Super power, we don't need it, our national cemeteries are getting full, that's bravery? I think not, no one, in any other country, cares anyway.
Lets pass this title on the England or, France, Germany, someone else.
I'd rather be known as an "Isolationist state"

Not very much longer I would say. China will surpass the U.S.A in this Century. Probably early like in the next 15 years.
