I mean she has been all but destroyed by a media hate campaign and why? Because she appeared in a few glamour shots when she was younger.

There are far worse people out there then Heather Mills.

If you were in a pub and some girl came in and said her bloke had been knocking her about we would probably all be outside about to kick his head in but when it was Heather we are all "Ah no, she must be lying, he is a beatle, he wrote Hey Jude, can' have been him".

We have just completely assumed she is lying without any evidence at all. And when she eventually explodes under the pressure everyone is "Ah I told you she was mad, she is not good for her children". She needs professional help etc

IT IS THE MEDIA THAT DROVE HER MAD! She probably wasn't mad before.

As for the money, she is totally within her rights to get some money off her husband. Isn't that how divorces work?

It makes me sick. Am I the only person who would stick up for her?

Angry. Volatile. Bitter. Hostile. Overflowing with vengeful spite. Out of control emotionally.

The similarities are endless.

The only difference is that Heather understands that newspapers often invent sensationalist nonsense to sell more copy.

You agree, yes?

The strain on any parents who have lost a child often results in divorce. Hypothetically, if the McCann's (whether guilty or not) divorce while the hunt for Madeleine remains live then will both parents be eligible to get their expenses covered from the fighting fund?

Gerald McCann, serial child neglector, tennis player, jogger, blogger and MAIN SUSPECT, today returns to his day job. Over the last 6 months, Gerald has relaxed with an extended 4 month holiday in the sun, until rumbled by Police and sent packing, and a further two months at home 'mowing the lawn'. During that time Gerald and his accomplice of neglect have met celebrities and been treated like celebrities with accolades from Britains finest. Gerald while on unpaid leave has had no money fears with the holiday, mortgage and expenses paid out of the fund, and expensive lawyers and PR men paid by his rich friends.

What next for Gerald ?

We read that after checking all the options the Portuguese Police head of the case has turned his focus back onto the McCanns.

Detectives investigating the Madeleine McCann case have consulted the chief inspector who has been sacked from heading the inquiry amid claims of a lack of leads, it has been reported.

Chief Insp Goncalo Amaral was removed from the case at the beginning of October after he accused the British police of only following up lines of inquiry put forward by the missing girl's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann.

He was apparently convinced that the couple, who are formal suspects in the case, were involved in the disappearance of their four-year-old, who vanished from Praia da Luz in the Algarve on May 3

The McCanns have tried every distraction in the book - but did they work ?

Diana was hounded by paparazzi on the night she died and during her life.

For some the McCanns have been public enemy number one for months now - which is somewhat odd, given that there are many politicians far more deserving of the title.

And Heather Mills appeared on TV yesterday, very distressed and claiming that she considered suicide due to media vilification.

Is our media / the British public entirely blameless?

Or, in these times of war and famine, do we need to reflect on our behaviour and priorities as human beings?

After all, we are all far from perfect, and none of us know what it is like to pick up a newspaper every day and read horrible things about us, much of which is lies.

I need to know why is Australia involved in the war on terror. I need to know this for a Australian Studies essay. I know that Australia supports the US but they didn't have to be involved, so please try and give a reasonably detailed answer.

There is $96 a barrel for gasoline, which is going to make $4 a gallon seem like no big deal real soon. Global Warming is creating an uncertain future, not to mention the many levels of grief from Iraq, Iran, terrorism, the economy, over population, health care, AIDS, random staph viruses, homeless, taxes, greed, politics, overly negative media, TmZ, Genocide... Doesn't it seem like there is too much crap going on?

Okay, I know some of you may find this surprising, others won't. I just want to know what you think, I don't care if it surprises you or not.

In 2004 11,624 people were murdered by firearms. Yes, this is strictly firearms and does not consider suicides, accidental shootings, etc...

Since the start of the War in Iraq, there have been 3842 casualties.

I'd love to hear some conversation on this!
