People say they're cold and unemotional. But if they cry, it is for effect, or because they are guilty.
People say they live a life of globe-trotting celebrity - Gerry visited America, to look into the lost children foundation there. the Pope blessed their daughter's picture. Hardly a holiday lifestyle.
If they stayed in Portugal, they were on holiday. When they came home, it was because they couldn't be bothered to search for Madeleine.
If they didn't spend the Fund on Private Investigators, they were sitting on the money. But yesterday I read a comment about how they were "wasting" the money on private investigators.
But the biggest joke of all are the people who complain about the cost of the security if Gerry goes back to work. If they hadn't started this hate campaign, Gerry wouldn't need security.
They slated him for using the Fund for living expenses. Well, maybe they should have gone on benefits. Imagine the outcry then. The Housing Benefits would have had to stump up for their living accommodation.
They definitely can't win. I hope Gerry and Kate manage to ignore all this hate and do what they have to do. Rather than buckling under pressure to a bunch of obsessive, vicious people with nothing better to do than look for conspiracies.

That's just how the Bobble Heads think, Faith. This happens all the time, they criticize the McCanns for not doing something, then when they do it, they criticize them again.

It's all a matter of jealousy, I think.

As I posted a long time ago they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. For some people there is nothing they can do that isn't suspect. I think those people must have very poor quality lives and view events through a veil of suspicion and paranoia.

To some extent, yes. But some may consider the way they behaved all the way as weird.
