Contrast that with the way people acted in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina -- with all the killings, looting, rapes, and violence? Remember the rescue helicopters in NO couldn't work because people were shooting at them? Remember when they trashed the Super Dome, it had to be closed for over a year just to clean up what the people did? The San Diego stadium was ready for action a couple of days later after the same situation. What do you think was the big difference that made the people in San Diego so helpful and the people of New Orleans so horrible?

The biggset obstacles to peace in the Middle East.
The war in Iraq has been a military disaster from day one.
Isreal acts like a schoolyard bully. It is okay for them to have illegal nuclear weapons, but not okay for Iran to have them.
The Isreali oppresion of the Palestinian people is verging on Nazism.

Who will it hurt the most and do you still think that it was the right thing to do to invade Iraq. I understand Afghanistand was ok. Do you still blame the French and Germans for making a wise decision no to get involved.

Could they be open to bribes?

Example

A man or a woman could stop breathing or their heart could stop and the Senior Nurse on duty decides if they should be brought back to life or not What if a partner/husband/wife didn't want that person to survive for what ever reason? Nurses are on rubbish pay for the job that they do. They could be offered a large sum of money to not resuscitate that person. I know a lot of people will say NO due to ethics & being professional but a large sum of money could change their lives.

So I have two questions for you

1 - Could senior nurses be open to bribes?

2 - If you were a senior nurse and money was tight. Would you accept a large money bribe not to resuscitate a person?

Just listning to the football commentary at the minute and we keep getting updates from some femaile commentator and, well, she really doesn't have a clue. Women aren't interested in football, as they're always saying, so why should they be allowed to commentate on it?

In the link provided there is a girl rotating in 360's

Apparently if you the silhouette moving clock wise you use the right side of your brain. If you see it move counter CW it means you use the left side of your brain.

I know a lot of people see it change between both directions. that means you use a little bit of each side.

You've probably heard this left/ right brain dichotomy before. It goes something like this: the left hemisphere of the brain is logical, deductive, mathematical, etc., while the right hemisphere is artistic, visual and imaginative. The idea stems at least partly from the classic studies of split brain patients performed by Sperry and Gazzaniga in the 1960s.

It is not as if there is terrorism, so far in Canada. What is a few measly billion in the state of the world today. We only need the NIgerians to keep kidnapping oil workers to prove my confusion.

Saying that it is part of the British culture to leave our children alone at night while we go off to the pub to get plastered. Everything that this man says is reported all over the world and I am outraged that people of other cultures are being given this totally erroneous and terrible impression of British culture. He knows as a media consultant that this statement will travel like wildfire to all the nations of the world. How dare he tar us all with the same brush as the McCanns by suggesting that it is part of our culture to neglect and abandon our children. I posted this question last night but it mysteriously didn't show up in currant events. My question is, Are you as outraged as me? and should he be made to retract his statement and apologise?
