The royal scandal which has broken today must be of massive proportions if the establishment has decided to ban all details of it.

The last time this happened was when the future King Edward VII was blackmailed over letters he had sent to prostitutes back in the late 19th century. It took another 75 years for the details to be released to the British public!

Do you think the establishment will be able to keep the details secret in our global internet age and if not, do you think the lurid details will bring the monarchy to its knees?

I have always stayed middle of the road when it has come to the MCcann case but i have a few questions,

1. why would they not answer the Q's that PJ had for them?
(if i was innocent i would'nt have a problem answering them)
2. why leave portugal very quickly as soon as they are named as aguido's?
3. why have they hired a top extradition lawyer when they have no need for one?
4. why have they hired a top government spin doctor when they are both more than capable of talking?
And please this is a sensible question so only give sensible answers and not abuse.

Gerry McCann in addition to being a heart surgeon also works for the UK government.Gerry McCann is a medical advisor to COMARE, a government committee which monitors radiation in the environment. Hence he can get an audience even with Gordon Brown. He has 'friends in very high places' who can, and who have pulled strings on his behalf.

Gerry is on the Medical Practices sub committee of COMARE.

My question is what is the link between Gerry's involvement in COMARE and members of the UK government up to and including Gordon Brown ? is it hidden connection or is it out in the open ?

With the utter failure and total, complete disaster that has happened after the US and the UK invaded Iraq do you really think that George Bush will be stupid or insane enough to invade Iran next?
Why are they thinking of invading anyway? What have they done to us?

Okay, so people poured into the streets and rallied against the Iraq War. Does anyone really belive that this helps their cause?

Mostly, the only thing that these people accomplish is blocking traffic, littering, creating a public nuisance, and inconveniencing people to the point of probably jading their opinions AGAINST the cause they're protesting rather than gaining support.

This isn't the 19th or early 20th century, when an angry mob actually posed a threat. Do these people really think that the politicians are sitting in Washington, thinking "Oh My! The people are protesting! We better do as they say!"?

Seriously?

Plans of one world government through conquest of the Middle East has failed, and people have learnt that 9-11 was an inside job. The despots seem to be in deep trouble indeed.

I find it horrible, how the hell could they do that and think they can get away with it. Have they no shame? Have they no sense, that God will be the ones judging them, for taking innocent lives away so grotesquely. It seems like they want to go to hell..

Every year Over 1 million children under the age of 15 experience accidents in and around the home every year, for which they are taken to Accident and Emergency Units. Many more are treated by General Practitioners and by parents and carers. Those most at risk from a home accident are the 0-4 years age group.

Madeleine McCann was 3 years old when she was left alone in an unfamiliar foreign apartment.

While the highest rate of fatalities for accidents to the 0-4 year old age group are the result of fires, next comes falls or trips particularly down steps and onto hard surfaces.

The McCann apartment unlocked back door was situated up a steep flight of steps.

Don't you think doing this would at least be a show of faith to the Russians that we are only trying to protect Europe and the US and not to further proliferate nuclear arms or further develop WMD? Thanks!

"Robin Prosser, a Missoula woman who struggled for a quarter century to live with the pain of an immunosuppressive disorder, tried years ago to kill herself. Last week, she tried again. This time, she succeeded.

... She was a high-profile campaigner for the Montana Medical Marijuana Act, and like others, she was dismayed when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that drug agents could still arrest sick people using marijuana, even in states that legalized its use.

... Prosser suffered from an autoimmune disease that gave her allergic and dangerous reactions to most pharmaceutical painkillers. So she turned to marijuana. When that was no longer available she had no where else to turn.

“She just said she couldn't take it all anymore,” Byard said.

In her guest opinion, Prosser wrote that: “I'm 50 years old, low-income and sick. I spend most days in my apartment in bed, with no air conditioning, unable to go outside because I can't tolerate the sun.”

The prostests against our presence in Iraq seem to be having little to no effect. The Bush administration and Congress haven't shown that they aren't going to change their minds or make any drastic cuts to funding.
