Plans of one world government through conquest of the Middle East has failed, and people have learnt that 9-11 was an inside job. The despots seem to be in deep trouble indeed.

Please, it does not help to dream up reasons for the events of the day. 9-11 and the aftermath are a tragedy OK, but they are real tragedies that can be understood and avoided in the future.
I suggest you take your fiction and dream up a good money making movie, but hopefully, that fiction will not be understood as straight honest to God reality.
We don't need a return to the superstitions of the past, or the future!

From the same article, and very telling of why your post is highly distorted and not representative of the will of the United States citizens:

"Where's the outcry? Where's the horror that almost 4,000 Americans have died in a foreign country that we invaded?" Robbins said. "I'm almost as angry at the American people as I am the president. I think Americans have become apathetic and placid about the whole thing."

Not really. It's just that we're tired of San Francisco.
