Hence he can get an audience even with Gordon Brown. He has 'friends in very high places' who can, and who have pulled strings on his behalf.
Gerry is on the Medical Practices sub committee of COMARE.

The connection is that Gerry McCann is an advisor to COMARE (not a member of it, note), a government committee, and Gordon Brown is the Prime Minister, or in other words the leader of the government or which COMARE is a committee.

If and i stress "if" there is a connection it would be a hidden one; possibly a family connection or alternatively a link from respective pasts. I think the fact that there is speculation surrounding this question is not surprising the government must be fully aware of it and are quite able to stifle unwelcome rumours when the need arises.So in this case why don't they do just that?

I've been on the committee regarding legislation and I never met an MP, let alone a prime minister.
Doubt Gordon Brown has even heard of this obscure and, in relative terms, insignificant sub-committee.

Something fishy is going on that is for sure. What other person would get away with neglecting their children, and as a result of that having one abducted. Refusing to answer any questions put to them by the police, and generally enjoying themselves by jogging, blogging and undertaking a world promotional tour within days of their daughter's "disappearance". Someone is protecting the McCanns.

And isn't he resposnible for the death of Princess Di too?
And we all know he's behind the kidnapping of that little girl in Portugal. Did you hear about it? It happened in March or May this year.
