The royal scandal which has broken today must be of massive proportions if the establishment has decided to ban all details of it.
The last time this happened was when the future King Edward VII was blackmailed over letters he had sent to prostitutes back in the late 19th century. It took another 75 years for the details to be released to the British public!

How can we have facts to base our arguments on. The establishment have gone to incredible lengths to try and stifle any information.
This in itself shows just how big this scandal must be!

I don't think that many of us care too much about what any of the royal family get up to for us to get our panties in a knot about some stupid so-called scandal. Nothing shocks us nowadays.

So no is the answer, they wont be able to keep it secret! and well the monarchy has been close to it's knees since the death of Diana and the possible scandal that comes with that plus all the other scandals that have recently erupted, not only that the behaviour that Prince William and Harry have shown lately... although I don't mind them so much , they are young and growing up so I think it's only fair they have a life and little bit of fun and wouldn't you? instead of being cooped up with them bunch of anally retentive fuddyduddies!

Even if it does come out into the open, I doubt many people will really care about it.
After all, what people do in their own private lives between two consulting adults is their business.

Why on earth should the royal family be able to cover up their embarrassing stories? If it was a celeb the story would be splashed over all the newspapers. I think we have a right to know whats been going on. We the tax payer should know how they are wasting our hard earned money.

I wouldn't like to say that it won't eventually leak out but I am certain that every effort will be made to prevent that happening. Someone suggested Prince Charles. I don't think so because Charles if far too health conscious to mess around with cocaine.

Nah the majority of people in the UK don't acknowledge the royal family as being important, we just see them as tourist attractions that make us money. I think whoever it is will probably be laughed at and it'll be forgotten in a few months time. Just like Harry and the Nazi incident. As far as the details, i don't think they can keep them concealed, someone always finds out and before you know the whole world knows about it, the monarchy is already flat on its stomach, so no it won't be brought to its knees.
God save the Queen haha..imagine if it was her in some raunchy sex video. Paris Hilton will be shaking in her boots.

This surely hastens the inevitable end.
As a lefty republican a hope that the focus will be on the drugs angle rather than the gay thing. Personally if some of the more obvious gay royals came out I think it would show them to be more human.
