I hate the dark evenings Elvis, nothing worse than being at work when its dark (except on the 2 nights a week I work late and therefore expect to)

As for where did the summer go? I think it stayed in 2006!

Date change in 2007

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

Yes I am.Whilst it is beautiful to see the colours of the Autumn leaves, once they fall, everywhere looks bleak and somehow lonely,no birds chirping or splashing about in my stream! Are you crying yet?????The dark evenings can be depressing, the only consolation being, once Christmas is over, suttle changes start to happen! Before we know it......Spring has Sprung !!! Where did the summer go? We blinked...Cheer up Elvis, you still have your friends on here to keep you company... x

I am a bit down about it but I love the winter, especially when i am all wrapped up on the sofa with a bottle of wine and a good film. But i hate the dark nights simply because i am out most days and get home about 6pm and i hate driving in the dark, there is something about the night that makes some drivers think because it is dark they can't be seen acting like racing drivers x

Hi, I am you are right we hardly had any summer at all, and now the nights will "draw" in and we will all be going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. It's about time they left the clocks alone .

Yes....lousy summer, but I won't be having to get up in the dark for a few weeks, so that's good. I know it will catch up by December, but then after the 21st it will start to improve again. Not too keen on long dark nights either.

Old School is right. The time change isn't happening tonight. You all are going to be surprised when you get to church an hour early tomorrow.
