It is a hard question to answer. Should we have followed the US into Iraq, the answer would be NO.

Should we have gone into Afghanistan to eliminate the Taliban and Al Quaida? Here I am undecided. It is a violation of the UN charter to enter another country to eliminate their legitimate government, but the legitimate government was assisting and also in part, being led, by members of Al Quaida therefore I have to say YES. The fact that the UN sanctioned the action in Afghanistan gives it a large amount of legitimacy in my eyes.

My main complaint is that the largest terrorist organisation in the world is the US government and its military. It has been involved in instigating coups and conflicts all around the world toppling legitimate governments and starting wars.

If the US stopped its aggressive policies around the world there would be far less reason for many of the "terrorist organisations" that exist to be.

Terrorism is horrific, no matter who carries it out.

Everyone should be involved in the war on terror. The terrorists will attack anyone who do not believe as they do.
