I am planning on going to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis & St. Paul) demonstration in Minnesota that will correspond with one in DC protesting the war.

I wanted to hold a board that said "NO MORE BU... SH... IN IRAQ" as in BS, Bush, but I'm afraid that it might be misinterpreted as

"this guy only wants a different pro-war Republican in power, since bush only has a year left."

What do you think is a powerful, eye-catching and unmistakable slogan, and why? Or do you think I should go with the other one?

Thanks!

How about,

" Sorry we hung you Saddam, we made a mistake - there were no WMD's" love George.

"Bomb the British - they don't shoot back"

"Invasion is just our way of saying we want your oil"

Sorry dude - you guys went in there and screwed the country - now you need to finish the job properly (if you know what that is now), not pull out and leave the poor saps in an even worse state.

Your only slogan should be "leave it up to the voters." The Dems have all come out saying they will end the war if elected. All but one of the Repubs have said they will continue aiding our allies in Iraq. It's basically the same argument they put forward in 2004, when Kerry got his clock cleaned. It's also the same choice put forward in 1968 and 1972, when Nixon defeated Humphrey and McGovern.

I hope America is not so foolish as to break the tradition of defeating Dems who are pledging defeat. (A tradition which goes back to the George McClellan/Abraham Lincoln election during the Civil War.) But they will have a chance to vote on it.
