If the vatican has removed all mention of the McCanns is this wrong or right? I mean don't we as catholics (I was bought up one) say that God forgives sinners and that you can go to confession and absolve your sins for whatever you have done. It seems a bit naughty of the Vatican to distance themselves from a lamb of God who needs God's help at this stage. The Vatican should see it out they got involved they should not turn their backs on them now when the going is getting tough.

Kate was apparently asked about the scent of death on her clothes, about the possibility of an accidental death in the apartment . . . etc

Aunt Phil says they are Dr's of course they smell of death

Just interested as when Robert Murat was a suspect lots of people I know were rubbing their hands with glee declaring him guilty and now it's the other way round a lot of people are now conveniently saying Kate McCann is innocent til proven guilty when they didn't give Robert Murat the benefit of any doubt.

So if she ends up in the slammer what excuses will you come up with then?
I'll start you off:

a) Miscarriage of justice
b) Witch hunt
c) Jealously as they are doctors.....

Kate a possible official suspect.

what do you guys think about this whole thing? I know she has not been proven guilty yet but you have to admit that it is a little strange that she was interviewed for 11 hours... and as a witness, what did she "witness" that needs to be explained for 11 hours? Do you guys really still believe that they are both completely innocent despite the sudden change of events?

The police said they were "satisfied" with the results...and then all of a sudden Kate and Gerry are hauled in seperately for "Witness questioning"...does such a thing even exist!!

Are you all still adamant that there is absolutely no chance in hell that they had anything to do with the disappearance of their daughter?

So I guess my real question is....are you all still THAT niave?

Good morning McFans......not long now.
As I recall - when Murat was named a Suspect lots of people asumed he was guilty ....did you defend him? especially as he was an aquaintance of the McCanns freinds. NO!

Why is Kate not guilty if she is now the same status?

Why would she not want to answer certain questions?
Surely she is suppose to be helping with enquiries.

Perhaps you are upset that you backed the wrong horse.
Or you are all Gerri McCann in disguise.

The way Murat was treated and depicted by the press was terrible.

So, with that in mind, Kate has not been found guilty, but only named as a suspect like Murat. However tempting it is to point the finger and venom towards her and Gerry we should let due process happen.

Trial by court, not trial by public opinion.

Not a question, I know, but thought it was worth saying.

I propose a fund to provide counselling and compensation for those duped by the McCanns. First on the list will be -

Gordon Brown - offered personal advice
David Milliband - offered personal and government assistance
Peter Greene- For use of his private jet
JK Rowling - for increased publicity of her new book
Richard Branson - for putting up a reward only the McCanns could claim
Clarence Mitchell - for holding our press to ransom
Jacqueline McGuiness - for providing regular entertainment during dull moments
Mark Warner Holidays - for providing a wonderful back drop for the saga

and so the list goes on.... how do they feel now?

I, as one of many, have never supported the McCann parents, I found their actions very questionable and because of which, me and others who beleive the same have been called several unpleasant names...

If the circumstances wasn't so tragic, it would call for an 'I told you so'

In short, those who have felt like I have right from the start, is this justice being served too overdue?

This doesn't go out to redneck hate mongers either, who just accuse everyone for everything for the sake of being a git.

Okay, what do you make of this -

A legal move to protect them or something more sinister?

Also what about THE FUND? Thousands of people have given to it - will it be now used in any 'defence?' - will be be now frozen? - Are people who have given to it now thinking "Oh Crud - can I have my cash back?"

COULD THIS LEAD TO THEM FINDING MADDY SAFE & WELL ??????

I am curious about that senator who was arrested in the bathroom.

I told you so, why didnt you believe me when i told you so!
Ive been saying on here for months that the parents killed that little girl themselves, and cooked up this abduction crap to cover it up.
Now the parents are being questioned again, and reports are that an arrest is coming soon. 11 hours of questioning for the Mom, how much longer before she breaks?
So, who still thinks they are innocent? Who still thinks im nuts?
