I vote libertarian for the same reason.

No - it would just steal a few votes from the Dems and the Repubs would have another reign of terror...

You can't have a third party until the dems have had a chance to mess everything up as bad as the Repubs... then you might have a chance.

Actually, no. If they are at all like the greens in Europe they have too many snoozing ex communists who can't find an ecological niche anywhere else for themselves.

( I know nothing about the Greens in the U.S.A. so maybe I'm being precipitous.)

The green party is another name for tree hugging liberals. They hold nearly the exact same beliefs with a few libertarian ones mixed in.
