I can't make up my mind, if the war mongers in congress and the White House finally have lost it, or if they are so plain stupid, that they think, the majority would let them get away with a third humping of a basically defenceless third world country? Our tanks could rumble over Iran in a week and then what? Are this people totally brain damaged?

Pure pathetic: they can't handle Iraqi situation, so they need some smokescreen.
Look on another incident: Israeli warplanes yesterday invaded Syria. Immediately UK and US brainwashers started screaming and scaring people of maneuvers of Russian Tu-95s.

With great aplomb they will refer to the Qur’anic verses (such as 2:30, 6:165, 7:129, 27:62) which firmly declare that only the Muslims are the rightful inheritors of earth. Allah has assured the victory of Islam by expropriating and usurping the land of the infidels and hand them over to the Muslims (verses 13:41, 21:44, 28:58). The Islamic world is patiently waiting for this ultimate victory of Islam—no infidel should bear any doubt on this mindset of great majority of Islamic diehards.
There are thousands of Islamic organizations in the West whose job is to keep pushing their Islamic agenda to reshape the West. The message is loud and clear: conform to Islam or else face jihad, that is, Islamist terrorism.

Pathetic but dangerously pathetic.
Bring back the draft and no one will deam up these war game scenarios. The people hate the draft so the crowd in the White House woud never get carte blanche (like they did this last time) to start a war.

I'm not sure I fully agree with your assessment. I think if we go into Iran we could face some serious problems of our own. I don't think we could get UN support for this and could possibly be sanctioned ourselves even. We cannot attack Iran, we could only respond to a threat. If it looks like we are going for another occupation, world leaders will be looking at us like the 2nd coming of Hitler. That will not be good. China is heavily industrialized now and they need as much if not more oil than we do.
