The differences between the term 'suspect' in our law compared to the PJ use of the term.

They did, did they?

I for one certianly never heard anyone on the BBC, Sky, ITN or read anything in the papers where they said 'Suspect Named - but suspect doesn't really mean suspect and the man could be totally innocent' in the very next breath/sentancte.

They did.
Its just that only a few people took any notice. The rest were too busy rushing in with speculation instead of waiting for the facts.

Your question is a very important one.

At the time the UK press were having a bit of a 'wave the flag' jingo hour and were totally taken in by the McScamms media circus. It has to be said that the gutter press in the UK (and some of its braindead readers) like nothing better that a good old 'paedo' story to get their teeth into and they thought that they had one.

On YA only a few consistantly saw through the bs, Dave S being one.

Have fun in the next few days seeing how many who on YA vented their venom at Robert Morat, continually chanted the McConns lines and did everthing they could to try to censor the 'Anti's now change their tune quick time.

somebody on here described Murat as being a scapegoat. they were right. Put the emphasis on somebody else to take the heat of yourself. Even the pope got caught up in this awful scenario. I can't believe what is happening to this world we live in.

They did. No-one was paying any attention though. Too busy speculating.
