Seriously? I've never seen such one-sided crap in my life. Unfortunately, my parents subscribe to a pay tv network owned by God himself - Rupert Murdoch (Foxtel) so I'm subjected to this diatribe on a daily basis even though I live in Australia.

They are the worst journalists I have ever seen
You can predict what their angle will be on every single issue before it comes out of their mouths
They are transparently right-wing and pro-christian
They use the emotion card all the time
They sensationalise

Basically, they are like a gossip magazine for domestic and world events

FAIR AND BALANCED???? Are you serious??? I mean are these people in touch with reality or what?? Be a republican humping station whose broadcasts are permeated with agendas if you wish but dont you DARE claim to be fair and balanced.

And the sad thing, is I've noticed a lot of Australian and British Journalists are starting to emulate the Fox style of reporting!!!!

What do you guys think?

Fox isn't even journalism, from what i can tell... maximum folk win awards like that for investigative journalism, and we've seen what occurs whilst Fox tries to try this... they get some doctored video from a teabagger and air it without question.. their journalistic standards are very susceptible, to assert the least

They talk about the Liberal media and claim to be fair and balanced. And Bill O'Reilly touts the "no spin zone" and he spins everything he says and refuses to let anyone who disagrees with him say anything. And Hannity is the very worst. They have 2 people on there that I like: Geraldo and Greta Van Susteren.

You are very observant. The major networks in the US strive to present themselves as fair and unbiased, but they hardly ever deal with stories that confronts the major distortions perpetrated by the executive branch of our government and major corporate sponsors. Profits dictate that they do not spend too much money on original research, but rather regurgitate press releases and stories released by other networks.

In fact, all of our media refers to the US invastion and occupation of Iraq as a "war on terror." Very little effort is put forth to research and verify stories. If another major networks breaks a news item, they slurp it up quickly "as is." For example, it was reported that Al Gore said he "invented the Internet." During the referenced interview, he never used the word "invented". In fact, he was behind funding efforts that made the Internet what it is today. The word he used was "created."

As long as the media business is out for profit and competitive advantage, we will continue to get drivel that resembles propaganda. Many people have lost their jobs because they wanted to break the real news.

Scientific American reported a good summary of climate change science. It's too bad our media is influenced by major multinationals such as the major oil companies.

Getting to the truth is hard work. Today, politics and media and corporations try to assert the falacious principle that "Perception is Reality." Most conservative commentaries seem to deliberately use false logic or make up completely false stories.

Americans need to stand up and turn off their TVs and radios.

I will tell you exactly what I told the moveon.org people when they griped about Fox news saying that global warming is a hoax...Get over it! Yes it is a right wing republican channel but the democrats have CNN, MSNBS, and the majority of newpapers and magazines. I don't understand why everyone gripes about the one conservative news station when you have 100's of other options. Watch something else, or walk out of the room and don't watch it if you don't like it and your parents are watching it. Yes they say they are fair and balanced but if they didnt say that the democrats would be riding their asses even more.

Only people that don't actually think, think that Fox News is good journalism.

Before it was purchased by Rupert Murdoch, it was good journalism. Now its mostly Rupert Murdoch's opinion rammed down the viewer's throats and outright lies.

It certainly is disgusting for someone to report anything except the liberal trash cnn, msnbc, and the other alphabet networks spew out for public consumption. Libs whine and moan about Fox News because the truth hurts. In their warped minds, freedom of speech is great, as long as it's what they agree with. Fox is the only "fair and balanced" news reporting you will find. If you don't like Fox, don't watch it. The answer to your question is not that hard to figure out.

I am willing to watch all news from various stations, and I get a balance and perspective from it. But I must say, I do really trust Fox News the best. It is, as they say "fair and balanced".
The best thing is they will show positive news along with the negative, many "liberal" stations will not. But things are getting better (I hope) because folks are realizing our President is indeed on top of things and doing right (my opinion).
