In the men's bathroom, that's got everyone so upset? Did he expose himself? Did he proposition someone? I've heard jokes about him "tapping his foot", what does that mean?

The United States has more bombs than any other nation and is the only nation to use an atomic bomb on human beings.

This is a philosophical question, which not intended to be an affront to Americans in any way. I'm genuinely interested in what people think.

You answered ¨Freethinker¨ that the U.S. wasn´t in Iraq at the time of the Twin Towers Attack. Of course not. What had Iraq to do with Bin Laden? Nothing at all!
However,we,the U.S.A. have unfairly and unremittently given our full support to Israel for half a century and backed their theft of Palestine from the Palestinians(both Muslim and Christian!!)with our military might and a colossal amount of money for years. Israel can do no wrong;the Palestinians can do nothing right. THIS is why we are hated in the Arab(Muslim) world. Terrorism is NEVER justified but, given our foreign policy of the last 60 years or more, the Arab and Muslim world have NO reasons to either like or trust us. We are reaping what we have sowed.
We are screaming about Iran getting nuclear weapons but Israel has had them for years and we haven´t batted an eyelash. Israel and the Apartheid gov. in South Africa were hand in glove, exchanging nuclear secrets, and we never had a problem with that !

We have a professional army which is well paid not only in salary but in kind. The life benefits accorded to the military are not found in any other sector. Our professional soldiers join the army for many, many reasons and not all of them altruistic.Poor foreign nationals fight in our armies to get citizenship. All of them know that they they have to go where they are sent. This is not heroism. This is doing the job they are paid for. If we really cared for the lives of these troops,we would be scrupulous about putting them in
harm´s way. They are dying in Iraq to further some scheme dreamed up by Bush and the Neocons;they are not dying to protect us or our freedoms. Those who REALLY care about the troops have opposed this war from the start. It is wanton and criminal and has caused many needless deaths. Our freedoms and rights are being taken away from us right here at home by legislation like the Patriot Act. And no one is protecting us from this theft. Support the troops! END THE WAR

The human race must move to a planet beyond our Solar System to protect the future of the species, Professor Stephen Hawking has warned. “Once we spread out into space and establish colonies, our future should be safe”. He said there were no similar planets to Earth in our Solar System so humans would "have to go to another star". Hawkings said that current chemical and nuclear rockets were not adequate for taking colonists into space as they would mean a journey of 50,000 years. He also discounted using warp drive to travel at the speed of light for taking people to a new outpost. Instead, he favoured "matter/anti-matter annihilation" as a means of propulsion. "When matter and anti-matter meet up, they disappear in a burst of radiation. If this was beamed out of the back of a spaceship, it could drive it forward." Travelling at just below the speed of light, it would mean a journey of about six years to reach a new star.

What chance London’s Metronet can get us moving into space?!!!!!

Hilarious!
Do you know how many kids survive on 5 hours a week of home tuition cos there are no places in pupil referral units and other schools won't take them?

How is changing the time limits going to help that?

How's about we make the curriculum accessible to more children - maybe then they won't act up cos they don't have a clue what is going on in spanish class cos they don't even have a grasp of grammer in their own language! How schools expect kids who can barely read or write english to learn a foreign language is beyond me!

Maybe we are too quick to exclude kids? My partner works in a school for children with social, emotional and behavioural problems, they have one of the highest exclusion rates in the area and they are supposed to now how to deal with challenging behaviour!!!! Its a disgrace!

Thats great, but doesn't it imply that the government think the parents of these kids don't work for a living and are capable of actually doing this?

I worked with a family where the mum begged the school to keep her son in internal isolation cos she couldn't get out of work and he wouldn't be able to get into their house - the school didn't give a damn and sent him off to roam the streets for hours - he was 11!!!!!!!

F**K ups?

Whats with this business of saying anyone who does not support the McCann's for leaving their kids alone in may must be on benefits?

I can understand people objecting to more 'extreme' posts but to lump everyone together and say (sam J) that the denials are as convincing as the lies about the McCanns?

Some people need to get a life.
I personally am having a well earned week off work (not had any leave since august last year!) and If I want to use YA I will.

I also personally know some people on here in 'real life' and those of you who have made assumptions about them in terms of whether they work or not or have kids or not couldn't be further from the truth!

What's it like up there in your ivory towers? Get a life!

I just found this on the web and am disgusted with what I am reading. A group in America has asked that Britain be placed on the list of countires that support terrorism. We have stood side by side with America during their battle with terrorism and have lost men and women during that time. We experienced bomb detonation in my home city of London (although nothing compared to 9/11). I can't believe that somebody out there could be asking this. See the link below:

I feel like we're at war even though we don't have to see it here in our own country, thankfully our men in iraq are dying to prevent the resources they are using against us there/here. but that will end soon.

I want to go into the NSA and some type of survellience, i dont think i have what it takes for the CIA, academic wise right now

A conservation charity set up by Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, who died a year ago, wants the world to set aside November 15 to help carry on his work.

What are your thoughts on this idea? Why do you agree or disagree with the concept of 'Steve Irwin Day'?

Since majority of Americans are Christians and we are forced to fight in the Middle East because of ignorant congressmen such as Joe Lieberman who was the 1st person who thought the war in Iraq is a must and also pushed president Bush to go to war. He only wants to defend Israel from Iraq and uses lies to invade Iraq. And now our troops are being seen as Crusaders by the Islamic world. Now Muslims around the world think that Christians are bad people when in fact the Jews (congress) are giving order for the troops to fight. The whole war in Iraq was for the protection of Israel and now it shows clearly. That congressman Liarman oh sorry Lieberman right, he always goes against violents mostly in video games, but when it comes to him he is willing to kill people in Iraq, isn't that real violents idiot!!!??

Even if it is true (which I doubt!) why did they choose to run it on the 1 year anniversary of Steve's death.

Media makes me sooooo mad........
I do understand they need to sell magazines by telling stories but why couldn't they just run it in a few weeks time instead of this week.....Poor Terry.

Great pals with the C.E.O.'s of the U.S.A., Dubya and Dick, and traitor to many faceless victims of his scams, former Enron C.E.O. Ken Lay conveniently "dies" before justice is finally served.

Is it remotely possible that Lay faked his death in a elaborate scheme to avoid prison and then slipped into a wealthy exile overseas?

If true, it wouldn't be the first time that Ken Lay and his pals cooked up a Texas size scam.

Possible?

When Lebanon defends its land from being occupied from Israel it's considered terrorist activity, but when Israel purposely kills Lebanese civilians such as women and children Israel is considered a hero. Is it because their people want you to believe it? Since they own all the T.V. stations in America? So how come America didn't invade Israel to stop this from happening? Israel claims that they started the whole thing but it seems that Israel always starts war in the middle east just like the Iran Iraq war, some Jewish lady spilled blood between the two countries, and they forced Syria to fight with Lebanon also. And now Israel wants to take beautiful land from Lebanon and claims they occupied it.

What is your suggestion to keep men and women apart?

READ THE SNIP
ABU-DHABI, August 31 (RIA Novosti) - Saudi Arabia's religious police are insisting that authorities of Medina, one of Islam's holiest cities, should build separate sidewalks for women, the Kuwaiti Al-Qabas newspaper said Friday.

The country's Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (CPVPV), tasked with enforcing Sharia law, believes men and women should not be allowed to mix on the streets of the Islam's second holiest place, where the Prophet Muhammad is buried.

The clerical police, or Mutaween, are authorized to arrest unrelated men and women caught socializing, anyone suspected of being homosexual or a prostitute, and to enforce Islamic dress codes.
