"Star Simpson, 19, had a computer circuit board and wiring in plain view over a black hooded sweat shirt she was wearing, said State Police Maj. Scott Pare, the commanding officer at the airport.

"She said that it was a piece of art and she wanted to stand out on career day," Pare said at a news conference. "She claims that it was just art, and that she was proud of the art and she wanted to display it."

The device had wires connected to a battery, allowing it to light up, he said. Simpson also had Play-Doh in her hands, he said."

Seriously, do real bombs have blinky lights?

Vegetarians don't eat meat because of cruelty to animals. I've been thinking about this. If the majority agreed with Vegetarians and stopped eating meat then there would be no reason for farmers to keep cattle. Would this not mean denying those cattle their chance of life and therefore they would simply become extinct. My conclusion therefore is that eating meat is less crues than not eating them. Any vegans with a thought?

Where does Al Sharpton get off thinking he is in charge of the legal system in this country?! He thinks that he can just go around giving orders to anyone and everyone in every court around this country! Who appointed him the ULTIMATE AUTHORITY? Thank God he didn't get elected...or he would have every hardened criminal released from prison. And no one would be safe!

Just asking.

Paul Craig Roberts [a conservative] wrote the Kemp-Roth bill and was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration. He was Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal editorial page and Contributing Editor of National Review.

Also, the U.S. dollar has just hit a new low against the Euro, directly as a result of borrowing for a trillion dollar war in Iraq (and Afghanistan before it) which was totally unnecessary and based on the lies of a cabal of madmen who have been running things for the last six years.

How can this happen? Bush and his Bushbots represent only 30% (or less) of the population.

Sally Field claims "If women ran the world, there wouldn't be any ***damn wars." Really? I guess Sally never heard of Queen of Elizabeth, who crushed the Spanish Armada and the Scots. Or Imelda Marcos, who brutalized the Philipines while indulging herself. Or Joan of Arc, who wasn't exactly a peacenik. Or Catherine the Great, who beat the crap out of the Ottoman Turks not once, but twice. Or Golda Meir, who defended her country against ten invading armies.

Let me get this straight. Correct me if I'm wrong.
1)A few redneck white guys threw some nooses over a tree. Not a politically correct thing to do but not a crime punishable by law.
Then:
2)Six black gangsta thugs single out one white guy and kick the crap out of him.
Assault & battery. A crime punishable by law.

The white guy's lawyer said he was not involved in the noose incident.

I am a white man and live in Alabama. So if I may I would like to present a hypothetical question.

If me and a few of my white freinds were at the mall and a group of black guys flashed a gang sign at us and later we found out that the sign meant "death to white people" does that give six of us the right to kick the crap out of black guy?
Talk about one sided laws!
If that were to happen Jesse and Al would be there but for different reasons!

If the noose over the tree is the main issue with the black community, their efforts should be directed at the law makers and try to change the law.

They should be freed?

They beat a guy up over his racist actions?

I’m sorry to hear this white kid was involved in racist actions but that doesn't give anybody the right to beat him up.

It’s not like he fought a guy one on one.

We keep hearing that it's all spin and PR in the McCann case from the wannabe witch finder generals. We read repeatedly in their posts that we shouldn't believe the spin in the press. All of a sudden the tabloids, broadsheets and all other media is not to be believed. The McCanns are guilty they bleat.
Well my question is: How did they form their resolute opinions regarding the McCanns guilt?, articles in the press? Spin? I don't understand (perhaps because I am logical) how it's okay for them to believe the McCanns guilt from information gained from these sources and yet they totally disbelieve information from the same sources that point to their innocence? After all, non of the hate campaigners have been privy to any statements, witnesses, forensics etc. Only the same media they now decry.
Sorry in advance for the flurry of thumbs down for anyone who agrees.
