You know, it's a sad state of affairs when a country has to resort to such tactics...especially over a plot of land so small, it's called a "strip".
I DO NOT approve...I think Israel is wrong to do this....
I really and truly wish that when countries wanted to fight, we'd put boxing gloves on each head-of-state (president, prime minister, whatever) and let THEM duke-it-out themselves...and leave those of us who are innocent by-standers, alone...

You're right. Because they didn't "win militarily" they got the Gaza strip as a booby prize. Egypt would not allow Israel to return "the strip" along with the other land Egypt demanded. Egypt won't have them. Jordan won't have them. Syria won't have them. Etc. Etc. Why haven't they been "resettled" in Christian nations? Do Christian nations intend to ignore them for another 50 years?
Any assistance they've gotten has been used for weapons instead of infrastructure. The greenhouses left by departing Israeli's were abandoned and destroyed along with many jobs.

I was not aware that the people in Gaza were Israeli citizens.
From what I understood they are Palestinians without Israeli citizenship and that Gaza was not part of Israel.
From what I also remember is those individuals in Gaza democratically elected Hamas.
And from what I remember Hamas is in a declared state of war against Israel.
remind me again why Israel should supply anything to a group of people outside its borders, never had citizenship, and have declared war against them.
I cant wait to here your answer...

Uh, what are you talking about? Israel did win militarily, controlled Gaza for many years, and then turned it over to the Palestinians for a homeland. They then cut off everything, including a whole lot of money they were sending in to try to help stabilize the place when Ha mas, a recognized terrorist group, was voted into office. And look at the turmoil that has caused, as Palestine has slipped into a virtual civil war between Palestinian factions. I cant blame the Israeli's at all, and I just hope that the Palestinians can figure out that terrorism is not the way for them to win a self governed homeland.

Yes, it is a tactic to collectively punish all the citizens for exercising their democratic franchise and electing Hamas. It is not right, it is immoral, and furthermore it is not helping the Israelis.
One element of a democracy is that we may not always like the outcome. Like it or not, the Palestinians chose Hamas. Of course, we all talk about "democracy" and "democratic ideals" until the foreign people choose someone we don't like (also see current situation in Iraq with al-Sadr's parliamentary bloc).
It's all a facade, or as my elders would say, a bunch of bullsh*t.

The whole problem with the middle east was caused by Israel and Israeli supporters in the White House ( Not Jews Israelis)
See the links if you want some facts which the media cover up
Please ignore the rather brash style of the Israeli White House Israeli controllers list, it is in any case public information and no secret , no secret but not publicised either.

It is extremely sad to see Jewish people creating what is for all intents and purposes a concentration camp considering the terrible crimes commited against them in Nazi Germany.Have they learned nothing? It is time the Jewish diaspora spoke out about these atrocities. This is not the road to peace.

when you live with people on three sides of you who want to wipe you off the face of the earth, one with nuclear bombs (IRAN) it's ok to do whatever you have to to survive as long as you don't go nuclear yourself and use kids to do your fighting and hide behind like the terrorists do.
