Just asking.

Paul Craig Roberts [a conservative] wrote the Kemp-Roth bill and was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration. He was Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal editorial page and Contributing Editor of National Review.

Also, the U.S. dollar has just hit a new low against the Euro, directly as a result of borrowing for a trillion dollar war in Iraq (and Afghanistan before it) which was totally unnecessary and based on the lies of a cabal of madmen who have been running things for the last six years.

How can this happen? Bush and his Bushbots represent only 30% (or less) of the population.

Watch the Bushbots ignore the Paul Craig Roberts link I posted ( a real conservative American, not a 'neocon')...

Watch them attack me for pointing them to the truth (the Bushbots just LOATHE the truth about what they have done to America and the world)...

Watch them attack me, for pointing this out, then giving themselves 'thumbs up' with their multiple Yahoo aliases...

The gig is up, Bushbots, we all know that you are less than 30% of Americans, and the whole world uses these boards...

Your dirty tricks only show that you are, have been, and always will be ON THE WRONG SIDE.

sarge, what do you do, besides answering every question you see with inanities, just so you can get a 'top contributor' badge?

I stopped reading halfway through your first sentence, and gave you a thumbs down, because you are a brain-washed hack, and it is obvious...

You flatter me though, when you say "as usual"...

That means you are reading my stuff...

Which is more than I can say for you.

But go ahead and give yourself a bunch of 'thumbs up' with your Yahoo aliases...

I won't see any of your replies, so save your breath.

Thank Christ you are in the minority of Americans, as we all know.

Corey, nice "top contributor" badge...

What do you do, gain points threatening to report any question that you don't like?

Are you a Bushbot too? If so, how do you sleep at night?

bpeter, answer the question, if you can, America is being destroyed by people like you... that is not up for debate, the Constitution has been buried, as has been the Bill of Rights... the rule of law no longer applies, it is tyrannical rule... the Treasury is bankrupt and the military is stretched beyond its limits, while the infrastructure at home (roads, bridges, etc.) erodes, the education system is failing (see Miss South Carolina lately?), social programs eroded (the reason for a government) while war-profiteers like Haliburton and Blackwell corp. run laughing to the bank... Haliburton even moving its head office to the Middle East to avoid paying any taxes in the U.S., when U.S. tax-payers are its main source of revenue in the first place....

Wake up!!!

my question is 'why'?

For money.

They take our jobs and send them to other countries to benefit corporations.

They cut back on our social services and use the money saved from people suffering to cut taxes for the rich and for corporations.

They started a war in Afghanistan, in Iraq, and will in Iran so an oil pipeline can be built to the gulf- to enrich corporations.

They claim that we need to give up some of our civil rights, like the right to sue- guess what- for corporations.

It's a rich guy making himself and his buddies richer.

It has happened because corporations have been given the power of living entities, and corporations now have the power to influence lawmakers.

And the average person is too concerned with their struggle in daily life- or too apathetic, to notice.

IMHO, the Right Wing religious people are being taken. They voted for the Bushists because they though he was pro law and order, family, and tradition. He's taken their jobs too.

Bush doesn't care about Human people.

Everyone has an opportunity to do something. And President Bush got his. He is not so lucky though because every thing to rotten his opportunity is happenning.

Other Presidents don't have colorful or more eventful terms than he is, and his father, and President Lincoln for example (There are many presidents US have, but I'm just mentioning these ones that are popular on bad lucks.)

Why is the attack on the US embassys during Clinton's time not as hard as during President's Bush time? Because President Clinton got LUCKY - then he did not do something to it meaning he didn't get mad at these bullies. He decided it's ok, only few people died anyway.

We have to think that he did not start the 9/11 - he is just retaliating. And at this time, terrorist are all over the world, not all over US. This is not the time to say "I'll pass, I don't like war because people in US will not vote for me next term."

Besides, if people just want to be in the army,or marine, to get the benefit and not involve bravely on wars which is the first definition of their job, then don't join.

US people are so lucky there are still some gentlemen left in US (the old Bush and the young Bush) that is willing to fight back - we know that their life is at stake too. We don't know who and where among people in US are terrorist (really) but they are fighting on top of the table - no hiding underneath the bushes or shelter or digging like rats for safety which they can easily do that. These family are just plain righteous people. They are heroic and brave and doing the most right thing every person/people concern for their country and for others will do. Amen.

Hmmmm, this sounds like a rant which goes against the Yahoo Answers term of services.

Thanks! I'm glad you noticed. Actually I got it because I answered way too much questions about this season of Big Brother. The point of my initial answer is that I am really tired of seeing people try to push their agenda (liberal or conservative) in a form of a "question" when the truth is no one really cares what you are trying to say in the first place. For the record, I'm non-partisan (voted for Gore and Kerry in the last two elections though). Have a super weekend oh and don't worry, I'm sure you'll get a Top Contributor badge one of these days!

As usual, your assertions are totally unfounded. Have you been to Iraq? I have. How about Afghanistan? I have several colleagues who have been there. So do us all a favor and stop spreading anti-war propaganda (READ: Out-and-out lies). You say the war is unnecessary -- on what do you base your assertions? Or have you forgotten that the intelligence gathered against Saddam Hussein was gathered almost exclusively during the Clinton Administration?

Let me help you get your facts straight: For starters, we DID find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Heck, I personally saw a stockpile of enough airborne biological agent to wipe out the entire population of Iran. But do you hear about this on CNN or CBS? No, you don't. Why? Simple: It doesn't fit with their anti-war anti-Bush agenda. Secondly, the Iraqi people are, for the most part, VERY HAPPY that our soldiers are there helping keep the peace -- they know the civilian casualty count would be at least five times higher than it already is if our troops were not there to stem the factional fighting (READ: Iraqis killing Iraqis).

You have been brainwashed by a liberal media machine that wants to control ALL the media (why do you think they pule and whine so much about FOX News and conservative radio after holding a monopoly on the business for almost three decades?) and ultimately want the American public to think and believe everything they feed to them, like a bunch of sheep. By swallowing their slanted diatribe hook, line and sinker, you have become one of those sheep. One day you'll wake up and wonder where all your civil liberties have gone, and you'll have no one to blame but yourself for blindly following those who want to turn the Land of the Free into the land of the feeble-minded sycophants.

Wake up and see what's REALLY going on and who REALLY wants to control every aspect of our lives.

I'm not a fan of Bush but it seems he has done no worse then any other president especially Clinton or JFK or LBJ. Clinton was a coward & allowed at least 13 attacks to go off against the US without doing a thing but cutting our military & it's funding, firing two cruise missiles that did nothing to deter further attacks, & tucked tail & ran showing the US as weak & encourage Bin Laudin to plan further attacks like the US Cole & 9/11. LBJ & JFK got us into Vietnam & the Bay of Pigs. Clinton pardoned & many money on at best questionable business ventures before & during his reign. Bush & his family made money off oil which is legal & a necassary resource. If you dont want to buy oil or help people invested in Oil like myself don't drive or use anything that uses oil in some way plain & simple. JFK & his family made their money & bought their clout with booze during prohibition which was at the time illegal. Clinton & JFK did illegal practices to make their money & power & Bush & others are condemned for investing in oil just as LBJ did which again was legal & no different then what LBJ did to make money. Spare me your it's my way or the highway & since Bush isnt your favorite person then he must be evil garbage. You have every right to not like Bush I could care less but spare me your opinions especially when you twist the truth & speculation without proof or solutions. If you invested in the market especially real estate directly or indirectly then you have to accept their is a risk just like asking a woman out on a date there's a risk she will reject you. If you bought a house & have poor credit or don't make a lot of money then your to blame for your financial issues just like my friends who did. Even if you had lots of money why in the world would you or anyone agree to an adjustable rate especially when it was at the lowest point in years when you know what goes down must go up & especially when for years people have been asking when will the housing markets peak since again. What goes up must peak & even go down. Stop blaming Bush or other people for your stupidy & bad decisions. Making money on oil is no worse or different the selling a house or buying gold or anything else unlike making shady real estate deals like Clinton & his croney wife or JFK's family selling illegal alcohol. I've lost alot of money on the market this year because of all the stupid people who bit off more then they could handle & because of the same things you seem to be complaining about but you don't see me complainting because it was my decision to invest & take that gamble. IF you go to Vegas & bet on black or gamble then when you lose & odds are the more you gamble the more you likely you will lose you have only yourself to blame. If you go take your rent or mortgage & bet it all thinking your make bank winning & end up losing you got noone but yourself to blame. Stop blaming everything on people especially if they have nothing to do with it or just because your disagree with them or dont like them. You dont even know Bush or any other political leader in either party. If you vote & your guy losing then accept it if you dont vote dont complaint. Clinton never had a majority vote in either of his elections & scored lower in popular votes then Bush did in his two wins so spare me the mandate garbage thing & if Gore won in Florida republicans would be calling him a theft just as you & others say Bush was. Stop being a poor loser & accept the realities of life.
