What's the real story behind these two events:

1) The Florida University student who was tazed after asking Sen. John Kerry an embarrassing question. I heard this student is known for being a smart alec and is a bit of a clown. From the video posted on the internet, I only see him asking the question about the Skull and Bones society, but don't see what happened before, nor why the security guards picked that moment to arrest him. Was he asked to finish the question before? Was he talking out of turn? What was the justification the guards used?

2) O.J. Simpson: were those possessions he tried to retake in Las Vegas really still his, or were they part of the items sold by court order to pay off his civil lawsuit?

As human nature being much the same, these type of incidents happen all over, so I do not believe they happen only in the south. This is just another case of the South being brow beat again. This is discrimination of the worst kind

I took my 9 year old to library yesterday, the kids section is upstairs in a large room and is isolated from rest of library. I walked in and there was a little boy about 3 all alone, no one else was in this room. We stayed for 20 minutes and watched this baby figdet in his chair. Later that same day I was walking up the road and could hear a child sobbing, I looked over at a parked car and this kid about 5 or 6 was crying her eyes out, the windows were down and she was alone, she had obviously been left whilst parents had gone into shops. The case of the 10 yr old boy who jumped into a pond to save his 8 year old sister and sadly drowned, where were his parents, my daughter is 9 and I certainly wouldn't let her play alone near any water. Why do some parents take these risks because when it goes wrong it always seems to be everyone elses fault but theirs.

The politically correct liberals won't be able to protect you forever, they won't be able to continue to run interference for you so what you gonna do when Uncle Sam runs wild on you?

There has been talk that many of the world's most wealthy people and powerful political figures are planning to impose a 'New World Order' (NWO) under their control.

Many think that increasing surveillance and control-freaking is just the lead up to this.

Do you think this is true or just a bad rumour?

These thugs can kill and are not liable to prosecution form Iraq or the US Military. In otherwords, they have a free liscense to do what they want. Isn't this what Mussolini gave his "blackshirts" and Hitler gave his 'brownshirts?" The ability to kill and destroy not only Jews, but anybody or anything that got in their way with no fear of prosicution?
And we're supposed to be installing Democracy? Saving Iraq from Al Qaida?
What do you think?

I'll bury the hatchet with Justmebackagain, I won't have a go at Shambo again [ unless he bullies anyone ] how about everybody starts afresh, I mean everybody, no more sniping,no casting up, drop everything from the past, live and let live, no reporting unless it's a really nasty troll.
If we can't get agreement here, then i'll just carry on as i've been doing, it's no skin off my nose, i'm only thinking of a few certain members who are getting bullied, and for their sake i hope we can get it stopped.

Jordan 10 years took his 4 siblings to a pond to play all aged 8 years and nine years. He jumped in to rescue his step sister (8) who got into difficulties and he drowned. The mother and step father are blaming two police officers who arrived at the scene for not saving him. Is it me or am I going mad? Where where those parents? down the pub? at Bingo? who of you out there would allow kids that age out on their own without being present? some yahoo users are very quick to blame the Mc Canns rightly or wrongly for leaving their kids asleep but to date I have not seen any comment on this case. What is your opinion?

a few of her friends had taken there guns into school and were shooting at other kids after school the teachers phoned the police and the police took each child home to there parents told them there was a 50 pound on the spot fine or they would take the gun and crush it needless to say they got all the guns and crushed them my niece then went and got her gun and put it in the bin no one told her to do it she realised there not toys..

dude...if you haven't seen it yet....go to youtube and watch the uf student being tasered at the john kerry speech forum....all that boy was doing was asking questions...nothing threatening....but then the cops swarmed and tasered him...for mentioning the skull and bones secret society....

that is to be almost expected of the present day government....the tasering of young and outspoken citizens...but what really sickened me was the coy smiles on the faces of the people in the crowd....people, it is this acceptance of the brutal and uncompromising governmental force that will lead to choas...i am not ranting here (well maybe a bit, but it is warranted)....but we are seriously turning into a communistic country.....we are more concerned with appearances (and thus more susceptible to propaganda) than we are with polictical leanings and history....

word to the wise, don't laugh at someone who is being beaten for the legal use of thier civil rights....you may just laugh yours away

I am starting to realize that part of the problem that we have in Iraq is that contractors such as Blackwater are corporations in business to make money. They are quick to pull the trigger which in turn will incite more fear and hatred into innocent Iraqi's. Such lawlessness will cause some Iraqi's to retaliate against coalition forces. The security gets worse and a renewal of contractors multi-millon dollar contracts are secured. If there is no war or the security gets better corporations like Blackwater lose money. I no longer wonder why the Iraqi prime minister tried to kick Blackwater out. Do you?

One one hand I see these two gentlemen doing much to fight discrimination, but on the other hand they are doing much to promote it. They are protesting what is happening to this Bell kid in Jena, LA, which I can understand, read the story here: http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=07/07/10/1413220.
However, where were Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when O.J. Simspon got freed on a low bail? If these two guys are truly serious about ending discrimination then they have to give fair treatment to all races and classes of people. Unfortunately, I do not see that happening. What do you think?
