Yes of course. They have absolutely no power , and as you will know being a Londoner, London children just take the P*ss out of them.
They need to be replaced by PROPPER COPPERS who walk the beat.

The money would be better spent on training up more proper officers rather than these mickey mouse prats, our local ones are a woman of about fifty (see her trying to deal with the drunken teenagers at the end of the road when they have one of their parties) and a girl of about nineteen that walks around chewing gum and being earnest (I am waiting for her to have to deal with the pikeys a few roads away with their Landrovers in their driveway in various states of repair and none taxed and hordes of vicious dogs).

This makes me sick, they claim they werent trained for that kind of incident... I cant swim too well yet i would have gone in there and pulled him out. You dont need 'special training' to just jump in the water and save a kids life, it should be instinct, not stand there watching.
I hope they are named and shamed, would it be different if the tables were turned? or their own son drowning? would they still refuse to rescue him?... somehow i think not.

A total waste of time and space, and I am ashamed that I have to breathe the same air as they do.
Never mind what they do for a living, are they so stupid, ignorant ,unfeeling and callous that even out of human decency they couldn't or just wouldn't lift a finger to help a little boy in trouble. scum scum scum.

I would hope charges are being considered in this case...watching a person drown has got to be a crime of some sort.

I don't see the point in them really.
I suppose it is all about making up numbers. They would be better not bothering with them and investing in real coppers.

I think you are tarring all special constables with the same brush, furthermore not all the key details are in the public domain.

it shows you what a waste of money it is, a child dies and the police chief defends them as they were not trained, what a *** he is, any normal person would try and save a child if they were drowning.
