Jacqueline McKernan and Elaine Doyle are appealing to holidaymakers to download the labels from the internet and tie them on their luggage to keep the search for Madeleine in the public eye.
Thank god I am back from my holiday I was mind boggled with her pictures in all the service stations.

In January 2004, G.W. Bush brought up the Mexican immigration issue from out of the blue. There had been no major talk about immigration, no major newspaper articles, no major immigration problem that had occurred. So, what was the administration's purpose? Was it economic in nature? Were they searching for cheap labor from Mexico? Or did they feel a need to engage in the age old "divide and conquer" tactic against the working class?

"Madeleine McCann's mother has returned to the UK for a brief visit - as a new campaign is launched to raise awareness about the missing four-year-old.

Kate flew out of Portugal with her brother and sister. They are joining Madeleine's father Gerry, who is already in Britain."

Well I guess this development answers a few things but also raises some questions.

1) It looks as though the McCanns don't have any travel restrictions put on them by the police and are free to come and go as they please.

2) Where the hell are the twins? The article would definitely have mentioned it had they taken them with them so once again the twins are left behind in Portugal.

3) Who is paying for the other McCann family members to keep coming out to visit them? You can bet your bottom dollar its coming out of the 'fund'. It says Kate returned with her brother and sister. The McCann's relations are always flying back and forth to the Algarve. Is this coming out of their own pockets?

I wasn't sure from the story on Yahoo whether the oil and supplies that we shipped them was our way of buying them off (like a reward, OR if it was an end to some embargo that we were imposing on them.

I thought perhaps I was having a seasonal allergy, but any allegies caused by flora and fauna has NEVER caused my eyes to burn. I checked with friends and family and everyone is having the same problem. Is there any scientist out there who can tell us what might be discharged in the air right now.
Smog is a given for LA, but this is ridiculous. If the culprit is corporate, factory, or human related, they should be held responsible IMMEDIATELY!

Why does the media hype negative press up to make us cower in our homes? The newest 'End of Days' mania is global warming. Man made according to most media outlets and Al Gore. Even though a lot of top notch climatology scientists refute that claim. One news channel went as far as to say that Kenya, Africa's average temperature is going to be 180 degrees F, killing nearly all life there. Although they didn't include a date when that will happen. One person on the radio said, it'd probably take a few thousand years before it reached that temperature.

There are so many to choose from. Heres a sample to help refresh your memory about the McCann family.

I think at worst we were naïve. - Kate McCann

"The analogy that I like to use is a bit like when we were students and you’d got to your overdraft limit and you’d gone beyond it and there was just nothing left in the tank."

- Gerry McCann relating the toll the search has taken on him.

"if all three of the children had been taken it could have been even worse" - Gerry seeing the bright side of the whole situation.

"At least she would be recoverable" - John McCann using a nice turn of phrase to describe Madeleine as likely being damaged goods.

"I looked up at one stage at the statue of Our Lady of Knock, which was positioned in front of us at the time, and for all the world it could have been my daughter’s face." - Sue Healy, Kate's mother describing Kate's remarkable resemblence to a significant religious figure.

This is an interesting question! Since no government today can solve the Iraq war and the terrorists, would you say the Nazis of yesteryear could have solved today's terrorist problems? (watch some say the Nazis don't exist anymore!) Just suppose this was possible today.
