Some of you may have noticed that Sean and Amelie did manage to squeeze in a hair cut!
Kate and I got the respone we wanted after speaking to the Portuguese ploice today. We are assured that no criticism of our actions on the night Madeline disappeared was intended.
We are delighted with the response to the 50th day balloon launch which will truly be a global event. There will be a few variations to the release of balloons however. In Ventura, Southern California, 50 white doves will be released and in Afghanistan kite racing, an activity banned under the Taliban, will be the order of the day.
I am not convinced going to other European countries and holding meetings similar to Berlin and Amsterdam will help.
The German interviewers are a little more direct with their questions but I was still surprised by the question as to whether Kate and I may be involved in Madeleine?s abduction! Hopefully our answers removed any doubt on that score
Most of the campaigning will be done behind closed doors from now on
Early rise this morning dropping off and picking up good friends from the airport.
Our friends brought back my wallet which had been returned, needless to say minus the Sterling, although all my cards and €30 were still in it! It is good to have my driving license back and one or two other important things.
We completed our move to the new accommodation today. It took longer than expected as we moved the thousands of letters of suuport we have recieved and all the new toys
There should be some stuff in the press in the next few days although we are very aware that the recent terrorist activity will, quite rightly, continue to dominate the news.
Kate and I both managed early morning runs today- it is definitely the time of day to it with the high temperatures in the middle of summer.
As most of you will know, there is a lot of misleading information being published, both in the press and on the internet, about the events leading up to Madeleine's disappearance and the criminal investigation.

This was the phrase that kinda tipped my decision to not respect them at all. Now, who complains at a free air ticket let alone a whole damned jet!!!!

when gerry said no questions to all the reporters on tv i found that quite sinister
why did he refuse to answer any questions after all he was the last person to see his daughter and anything he had to say might help to find her
kate and that cuddle cat and a yellow ribbon in her hair is creepy , because her face shows no emotion , she needs props to show her feelings

I think the Gerry "at least we've got two children left" quote has to be the best!
One quote will surpass them all - "You're nicked" from a Portuguese copper to Gerry McCann.
