the suicide defense or should they have gone with an accidental shooting defense?

I think that he is guilty also. I not only think that the suicide defense is a bad idea but also in extremely poor taste. I am following it because I cannot wait for his reaction when the verdict is read.

You may be right. People just aren't buying this suicide idea, as you probably know, he stands to get allot more time, the way it is. Had he admitted to the accidental shooting in the beginning, taken his lumps, he could have faired better. Now..........he's too old, he's going to have a problem living the next ten(10) years, much less twentyfive(25) to LIFE, yeah......we've been following it, he's done....LATER......

the suicide defense was their only option, since an accidental shooting with this gun threatening nut would not have made sense.

No I'm not following because I think he's guilty and because he's worth millions, he doesn't think he should be held accountable.

No . He should have pled insanity . If he's sane - then nobody else was ever insane . Murder is not an accident .
