I thought perhaps I was having a seasonal allergy, but any allegies caused by flora and fauna has NEVER caused my eyes to burn. I checked with friends and family and everyone is having the same problem. Is there any scientist out there who can tell us what might be discharged in the air right now.
Smog is a given for LA, but this is ridiculous. If the culprit is corporate, factory, or human related, they should be held responsible IMMEDIATELY!

If your weather is 95 deg or above the pollution monitor really goes up. If there are a lot of fires near the area it contaminates the air...Smoke carries a long way and depends on wind directions so it could be a group of things causing you to have these symptoms.

Watch weather reports. They usually give warnings for bad smog, air quality when it gets too hot. They also give pollen levels too. At least you can get heads up on bad air. Not much we can do for now, but I heard CA's doing lot for environment. May be things will get better. May be.

I live in Northeast L. A. (near Pasadena) and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. It's just been drier than usual. Put on your humidifier. Me, I'm cheap. I hang a wet towel in front of my window.

Pollution. And it's getting WORSE. Too many people; too many cars & trucks; and too much GUNK being dumped into the air... Pollution. THAT's the "problem..." And the culprit is US. :(
