Do you feel the terrorists are ready or just threats?

They are ready.

I think the threat is greater in Europe, and greatest in Iraq or other Middle Eastern countries. There is more to gain by attacking them.

Here's what I think on this one:
1. You would have to cross the 2 biggest oceans on the planet to attack American targets Then gather materials for terrorizing.(assuming these are recently trained al Qaida terrorists from Afghanistan or Africa or Mideast or Indonesia) The US gov't would be on any suspect's tail, they don't need that bad publicity right now. (? I'd hope anyway. You can't do anything on a plane anymore.) Why would al Qaida terrorists travel all that way when the US military is right in their backyard and there is a divided nation with TONS of oil up for the taking? It makes no sense.

2. In democratic politics you campaign to the swing voters, the same would hold true here. America isn't going anywhere, the President is standing firm on his stance on the Iraqi Occupation. There is little convincing to do here. Europe however is more on the fence sort of speak than America is. Those countries are withdrawing troops.

3. After 9/11 America was united, right now it is divided, there is little for terrorists to gain by doing something that would be uniting to an enemy that is already divided. Why attack them again at home when you can just act like you would attack and there is more intimidation for the enemy at home.

The terrorists would like to have you believe an attack is always around the conner. Thats their job, to make people live in constant fear. While their has been a lot to suggest their may be something I am not worried just yet.
