This story show the hypocritical nature of the State of Israel... they are enlslaving, torturing, murdering, exterminating the Palestinians, but when they need them they free them to do thier dirty work. All of these prisoners who are freed will come back to Israel to get justice for thier illegal detentions by any means neccessary.

You can clearly see who wants peace in this conflict and who wants to purposely wage war and ethnic cleansing.

Israel is the new South Africa. BOYCOTT ISRAEL (and write your Congressperson to do the same also).

So one kid has been kidnapped and she's got a sweet face...big deal. There are thousands of kids who suffer each and every day at the hands of abusive parents, through disease and poor economic conditions in general, or simply because they were born in the wrong place at the wrong time. If a tenth of the money spent on the McCanns were spent on disadvantaged children, the effect would be positive and immediate and lives would be saved without the speculation of the outcome of a criminal investigation. Let's get a grip on things here, if the McCanns are worth an audience with the Pope, what about somebody representing the thousands and thousands of starving and abused kids in Africa.......or is it that a starving black kid doesn't look quite so cute on a poster ?

Why have they set it up as a business instead of a charity? I have my views but was wondering if anyone can think of a genuine reason that the Mccanns would do this. Charitable donations are tax exempt aren't they? Why would you not take advantage of this? And where is the money going to?

Jane Tanner, the woman who "saw" a man carring a child on the night Madeleine went missing said, in the beginning, that she saw a man carrying a "bundle" that MAY have been a child? All the Police reports and subsequent media articles stated that. Police asked if anyone saw someone carrying something that could maybe have been a child?

NOW, Jane Tanner is not only sure it WAS a child, but can describe the blonde hair and even the colour of the pajamas. She can also describe the man, right down to his shoes, even though it was dark.

So, her testimony has gone, in one huge leap, from a "bundle, maybe a child" to a "blonde child wearing pink pajamas" yet this seems to be brushed under the carpet? How is her testimony going to be used? Why are the PJ not homing in on these discrepancies more? And why not one single mention of this in the media? Should Jane Tanners evidence be used, or should it be discounted? Do you believe her "sighting"

Please lets put all other issues on one side and think about this. Due to the vast amounts of money either donated or offered in reward money, what I find so frightening is the way this could be observed by 'organised crime'. There have already been 'bogus' funds and it strikes me that the whole issue of the disappearance of Madeleine is being watched and noted. Thousands of families are going on holiday with their children and whereas before they would consider their children reasonably safe has this turn of events I mean from the money side of the issue put their children in more danger? The vast amount of money being collected is mindblowing, the way it is being spent whether true or not seems to be adding fuel to the fire, I seem to be putting this in a rather muddled way but I think a more considered and dignified approach should have been taken where the money is concerned. What do you think about this? May you all have a happy and safe holiday.

According to todays papers.

It all seems to be centering around Murat as far as the papers are telling us.

Could he really be guilty?

Why are the McCanns still wandering about like they have done nothing wrong?

Has everyone gone insane. The Catholic Church will pay $600million to keep Pedophile priest out of jail and still on the job. Molesting children is the #1 most horrible crime.

the fundos and the terrorists are creatin a hell for all moderate pakistani ppl. so what can be done? history has shown that no bbody could rule that area from alex the great to the russians to the brits ( 1st afagan and 2nd afgan wars), the usa and the nato has also not been able to do much. the paki govt has not enough resources and most of the paki army is full of these ppl.
I suggest to give them a new country and let them do there as they wish call it pashtunistan ( a deram of many of the phatans living in that area) as pashtu is the dominat lingo of the area. pashtuns live in the north of pakistan and in afganistan. let them be a new state and leave the rest of us innocent ppl in peace. usa is just wasting its money and time for these wild
fanatics who are ready to die and kill ppl who are innocent.
the usa and nato and pakistan can keep a check on the borders no lives will be lost and there will be peace for all.

!!!!!!!!!!! you all are blind if think that these rediculous american media tell you the truth about America and its government! the fact is obvious, you can see iraq and its killed people, Some of you say that the situation now in Iraq is better than what Saddam made, but it is not a good reason to enter a country and kill the people who do not want americans, just to the name of making there peacefull. Also if you are a wise human, you can see what Seyhonism did with phalestine and your government just is one of the fans!!!!

I think it is high time that instead of Maddy's fund money being used for fecking about with by the McCanns, it should be used to hire a specialist investigation team to find this girl either dead or alive and bring the perpetrator to justice. If that were my daughter that is what I would be doing. I am beginning to wonder if they do not want the child to be found at all as I am seeing no signs of a private investigation going on.

I would like to see a rich businessman donate some money to some investigative journalists with some balls and put them on this case and give them carte blanche to look and find out everything, even if the eventual truth comes out as rather unpalatable.

BLOODY WELL DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE WITH THIS MONEY - FIND YOUR DAUGHTER YOU OWE IT TO HER AND YOUR OTHER CHILDREN

RED MIST RISING - I HATE INEPTITUDE AND APATHY

Sometimes I believe a lot of Americans' priorities are so screwed up it's impossible to change anything. I often wonder why we spend so much money on our military when so much of that money could be spent on finding cures for diseases, investing in productive enterprises in developing countries, research into clean sources of energy, providing people with adequate healthcare and education, etc. It seems that a lot of people in the US are stuck on this idea that terrorism is the only issue that matters and American pride is more important than the lives of millions of people around the world who are dying of disease and poverty. I am a proud American, yet I believe we are utilizing our resources in unwise, immoral ways. With all the money spent on the military, you'd think we could pay our soldiers better! Where is all this money going? Do we need to get our heads out of the sand and realize that our national security has been hurt by this war and that other issues exist?
