The same way the "civilized" nations of the Middle East watched Sadam Hussein use Chemical gases on entire villages in an effort to erradicate a portion of his citizens. The same way the UN which was created to do two things prevent WW3(It failed) prevent genocide(it Failed) are sitting back and watching Darfur like it was a soccer match.
So people are dying in Iraq because they can't get their **** together. So apparently it is better to sit back and let these nations, commit mass murder, enslave women, cut the clitoris off their daughters because they were born to be slaves, not provide infrastructure ( there are places in Iraq that have never had electricity or plumbing, 1000 years ago the Romans had plumming).
It some how is morally justifiable one part of the world to evolve and become advanced and for the Regions of the Mid East and Africa to be behind in some places up to a millenia.
The world cannot unite and move forward as one until, slavery ends, genocide ends and we gain control of disease and this can't be done by waiting. Some places are so far backwards that the Sun will explode before they pick themselves up. (this is in about a billion years)
How is it humanitarian to allow the Kurds to be gases and thrown into mass grasves without proper burial. 1 in 3 Iraqi families had a missing family member after we (yes I was there)removed Sadam. Most will never know what happen.
There were a lot of places in Bagdad itself that didn't get bombed intially and ya know what no power, water, any infastructure in some of the neighborhoods of the Capitol!
No one else was going to stop these things and least of all citizens of the Middle East. Their own religion which I alway regarded as a very beautiful Religion is being destroyed by those who would use it to manipulate the desperate, which is a lot of folks since there are no opportunities for advancement without blowing yourself up. What a way to take care of your family huh.

I think the American people speak very loudly, they do it the democratic way, thru elections.
Our media is one of the most fair in the world. Perhaps it is you that do not understand what has been said of the war. There has been a lot of bad publicity around President Bush this past year.
I do agree with you in that we should not be there. Why should we be the world's policeman? You people have been fighting since before the birth of Christ, and there is nothing that will convince me that you will ever stop.
Peace.

How can you sit there and judge Americans? You have no idea how we feel or what we've been doing. Everyone I know hates the war in Iraq and has called for an end to the conflict as soon as possible. How great is your country? Judge not buddy.

I assume you are a complete mental case, but that is OK, we are used to dealing with fools like you, If you knew you butt from a hole in the ground, you would see that it is the Iraqis who are killing the Iraqi's. But that's OK too, in a year or so our troops will be pulled out, and when the do, the blood is knee deep then maybe you fools will be satisfied with the slaughter.
Have a rotten day momhamad.

I can see where you're coming from, but you have to realize one important thing: those extremists we are fighting in Iraq are fighting a new type of battle. They recruit children to join their ranks, and use civilians' houses as hiding places. As someone once said in a USA Today 'letter to the editor', rarely are 'innocent civilians' killed by coalition forces. Civilians are harboring terrorists and assisting them in the fighting. The majority of really innocent civilians are killed by roadside bombs and suicide bombers.

We are actually with you. The average American 75% are ready for us to leave the Middle East. You all have been fighting for centuries so we are going to move out and let you all solve your own problems

Hey buddy, be thankful I am not running things.
I would have taken over the Middle East a long time ago.
No more terrorists and all the oil we need.
Yes, this is a simplification, but it is how I feel.

What country are you from?
I would like to hear Iraqi opinion on this. From a few posts from Iraqi people, they seem to want the Americans there. If you are Iraqi and have an opposite opinion, please tell us more.
