According to todays papers.

It all seems to be centering around Murat as far as the papers are telling us.

Could he really be guilty?

Why are the McCanns still wandering about like they have done nothing wrong?

i am fairly new to all this but from what i can see there is one person who may or may not have anything to do with this case, and may or may not be guilty (i couldn't find a reliable source re him having/non having porn on his pc, however if he did he surely would have been charged?). 'l'etranger' comes to mind, a person being judged for what their character is, or how they appear, not for what they actually did or did not commit (because we have no way of knowing just yet). innocent until, etc. then there are other people who may have, or may have not something to do with it. children act 1989 states that child negligence involves serious harm which is specified as 'not looking after a child - not giving them enough to eat, ignoring them, not playing or talking with them or not making sure that they are safe.' now this is uk but i believe that eu law wouldn't be too different...

I agree with Miss Essex - there appears to be no evidence whatsoever against Murat apart from the statements of 3 members of the group of friends. The papers are quick to villainise this man (who might just have nothing to do with it, like he says), yet they're absolutely gagged regarding anything about the McCanns.

I wonder if the stand off was also to check out their statements aswell as Murat's.

With the Portuguese privacy laws, we know nothing and we're unlikely to until they make it public and charge somebody.

first of all of the top of the international is December 21, 2012, and this is all our faults. it quite is the day the Mayan's calender ends for people who don't understand. it form of feels concievable, if that date is physically powerful, that international warming could be a extensive factor interior the top. Everytime they make a prediction on the subject of the end results of the warming, it finally ends up being worse or quicker than they theory. it might desire to ok be an exponential phenomena that's impossible to foretell. perchance international warming will in basic terms result the human race sufficient to panic us international. Uncontrollable warmth, Cat. 6 hurricanes, droughts, floods, viruses reborn or more advantageous... All of those are already happening, and merely getting worse. the top individuals could be a international conflict because of the panic, or heck this is a meteorite.. who knows. i understand this a lot, i bypass down with some dignity, i'm being magnificent to this earth that has given me a lot. i'm no longer thinking the end result i could have in this earth. All those people who think of what they do has no result and that they are in a position to bypass by their lives being wasteful pigs.. i'm merely waiting for mom earth to throw her antibodies on their butt, like our immune device to a scourge. verify mate.

i also read that and also that the police have had to cancel all leave as the investigation has become critical. There must be something happening, maybe Murat is guilty, they will have info that we don't even know about.

If it's taken this long to pin it on Murat I doubt that he is guilty. If they had hard evidence they would have arrested him long ago.

I am not sure what "critical level", means. Probably that they still do not have the faintest idea how the child came to be missing, where she is, who took her, or if the poor mite is still alive. There has been no ransom demand, and the whole scenario is really totally unbelievable. I do not think that there is one major player in this whole sorry mess capable of telling the truth. God help that poor child.

Hopefully we will hear something soon about Madeleine because this whole thing has gone out of control with all the publicity stunts and cash coming in for her parents.

Looks to me like the guy Murat is being fitted up! He looks shifty, but that isn't a crime yet.

I think that this is just the newspapers way of keeping the story in the news. I agree with what they are doing but think that they are being a bit sensationalist about it and giving people false hope of a conclusion.
