The other responders are of course right. Assuming he survived the attack, I don't think he'd live much longer.
However the implications of your question are more interesting. Do you imply that we should do the same? In that case I can't agree. Doubtless the terrorists have deserved death; so have many others, including many who still live.
In this country we have agreed not to give death to criminals, however wicked. We live in a land of law, not revenge. I for one do not want, for the sake of a quick and easy vengeance, to make exceptions to the normal law of the land.
If we once again agree to kill murderers, then these infantile fanatics will doubtless have an early place in the queue. If we maintain the status quo, they will be judged and imprisoned on the same basis as any other smelly little moral pervert.
And end of story.

That was very interesting! I will have to go find that book and read it.... Christian Principles? Huh! I remember that people had come over here in order to have "Religious Freedom" It wasn't specified as "Christian'. You are right. And---during the Civil War----it was not ALL about the Slavery Issue...The black slaves were only being used---they never really got much help from the north. They were only Exploited...The White House and the northerners wanted the rich, fertile lands down South for Big Business..It is always about money...Yes, there were 'Few' people who tried to help the slaves--but, not the majority

Good question Gerry....
i will only say, 28 days isn't long enough.....
TO POSTER SHABY---Yvonne Ridley was a journalist not a terrorist----the question was about terrorists...and there was more to that story..she was extremely vulnerable at the time anyway in her personal life.. wise up!
TO MYSIC ...the IRA was a completely different thing...the Irish ppl were fighting for THEIR own freedom and rights..they were NOT trying to convert the whole world to their beliefs...get your facts right and stop jumping on the bandwagon as a lot are doing at the moment...IT'S ENTIRELY DIFFERENT!!

I think they would be executed as a 'suspected terrorist' but they would definitely be held indefinitely, denied basic human rights and tortured.
Human life has no values in some of these places.
RICHARD C: WOW I don't know which comic books you get your world view from. Just because a nation decides to react against foreign or domestic terrorists operating on their soil does not make them Terrorists or in the pay of Israel. It is a sign of responsible government - YOU ****!

That is a good question. A christian would not have to be a terrorist to be executed in a muslim country. Just the fact that he is a christian is enough to sentence him to death. They take no prisoners. We , on the other hand , give terrorists medical care, special food, clothing, prayer rugs, Korans, etc. WHY? I think they should be given the same treatment as they would give us. If and wen we do catch bin laden I have the perfect punishment for him....did anyone read the book Hannibal or see the movie? Feed him to the pigs!

My first reaction to this question was that there is no such thing as a Christian terrorist, but on reflection I asked myself what is a terrorist? The people who carried out the attacks on 9/11 in New York and 7/7 in London are considered martyrs by the people who sent them through their twisted religious ideology. If our people where caught doing the same to them they would certainly be executed, probably publicly.
In my view people caught carrying out such attacks in this country should be executed.
People who are caught planning such attacks in this country should be executed.
People who are caught with knowledge of such attacks and fail to tell the police should be executed.
Why do we pussyfoot around and put them in prison for forty years at the tax payers expense?

The same way in which Muslim terrorist suspects are treated when they have been subject to "extraordinary rendition" by the CIA and end up in Muslim countries like Egypt, Morocco and Afghanistan - physical torture and psychological abuse.
I notice that you put "Christian Terrorist" in quotes. Are you implying there isn't such a thing? Check out this link:

in reponse to "shaby's" question on how well a muslim would be treated if he sneaked into a christian country.
well, going by britains example probably very well, he/she would be provided with free healthcare, a place to live, and the ability to live in a democratic country where he had the freedom to do and say as he/she pleased.
at the very worst they would be deported, but not after being put up by the country, and countless appeals etc that the individual would be entitled to, as every person in this country is treated the same in this country regardless of religion/race.

Well if a person was truly a christian and living a Christ like life then they would not resort to terrorism. Christians should be seen for their actions and a person that starts killing people because they don't believe the same as them are not Christians. They are just calling themselves that.

We already know what would happen. In Saudi Arabia a group of westerners were accused of a bombing in relation to the bootlegging of alcohol. The real perpetrators were Isl*mist extremists opposed to the Royal Saudi regime. But it was the Britons who went to jail.
