Has everyone gone insane. The Catholic Church will pay $600million to keep Pedophile priest out of jail and still on the job. Molesting children is the #1 most horrible crime.

Most of the priests that did the molesting are not on the job. They are either retired or dead. These molestations happened before 1990.
A few years ago, a nationwide audit was done and any priest that was accused of a single case of molestation was removed from public ministry.
When will other non-Catholic churches do the same?

Currently, the most prominent pedophilia case involves John Geoghan, a former priest in the Boston archdiocese. A court sentenced Geoghan to 10 years in prison for abusing a 10-year-old boy. Boston Catholics have been stunned by recent revelations of priestly pedophilia. Nine active priests have been suspended, and the archdiocese has given authorities the names of 80 other priests -- active or former -- who've been accused of child sexual abuse over the last four decades.

Actually the Diocese will pay about $250 million and insurers
will pay the rest.
The molestation of children is beneath contempt.
But suing the Church will not serve one iota in solving this
despicable problem.
Please pray about this. I am not a Catholic, but this country is
sue crazy and this is definitely not the answer.

Is your earlier statement based on proven fact or is just an emotional assumption? Unless someone (in this case a Priest) has been proven guilty, one cannot arrest him.

I see your point of view. Can a priest face his community ? For the sentence ? They will use the argument of many wounded in the world and in need of forgiveness and healing. They are being place in the public eye to watch over their actions. For where does their salvation lie? To see the suffrage ? To hear the anger? What then is a priests clothing worth to him? A Vail to hide motives of deception , they will use that argument for their defense and turn a mirror image to the world. creating for themselves another passage out of the community and into another like buildings of old.
