"Madeleine McCann's mother has returned to the UK for a brief visit - as a new campaign is launched to raise awareness about the missing four-year-old.

Kate flew out of Portugal with her brother and sister. They are joining Madeleine's father Gerry, who is already in Britain."

Well I guess this development answers a few things but also raises some questions.

1) It looks as though the McCanns don't have any travel restrictions put on them by the police and are free to come and go as they please.

2) Where the hell are the twins? The article would definitely have mentioned it had they taken them with them so once again the twins are left behind in Portugal.

3) Who is paying for the other McCann family members to keep coming out to visit them? You can bet your bottom dollar its coming out of the 'fund'. It says Kate returned with her brother and sister. The McCann's relations are always flying back and forth to the Algarve. Is this coming out of their own pockets?

Be honest,,,,do the majority of the UK public really care anymore?
If we did they would now be multi millionaires and we would all be out there lifting stones looking for her.....

Yes these are pretty harsh words, they will not sit well with a lot of people but from what I have seen and understood the majority just don`t care about them......the majority know the truth about them.....we have all moved on from this and the McCanns are pretty much on their own now with a few supporters but a growing number of critics...

You'd think they would want to be pictured holding on to those twins as if their lives depended on it after all of the criticism directed at them for leaving the children alone in the first place.
I remember them talking about 'returning to a sense of normality' for the sake of the twins
How normal is effectivly emigrating after a holiday during which your sister went suspiciously missing, then spending your days surrounded by children you have never met before?? Get with the programme and care for your children, you may never see Maddie again but you still have your twins!!!

I believe that any normal parents, if they had had one of their children abducted, would be more overprotective of the 2 remaining children. Yet this does not seem to be the case with the McCanns, they jet-set all over the place, leaving the twins behind. This in itself arouses my suspicion. We all know from what happened to Madeline, that they are not the most vigilant of parents when it comes to their childrens safety but to continually leave the twins with carers while they live the high life courtest of the kindness of strangers shows that these two have no parental instincts at all.

People don't think do they...I am not envious over the stupid fund. I want to know why it is not being used to search for their daughter. Its funny how people just do not get that and think we are jealous because someone is getting rich at the expense of their child. I would sell everything I have and live in a shed, eat bread and water and tell anyone that wanted to come see me that if they were coming to bring their most comfortable shoes because we are going out searching. Funny how some of us are refered to as judgemental because of how we see the parents...they are in the spotlight, Gerry himself tells us his day to day activities yet those who call us judgemental do the same exact thing to strangers on Yahoo that they know nothing about.

If the McCanns would just go back to the UK...all the money being spent to send friends and family out there could be used to hire several private investigators. Maybe they do not want that though because I personally think PI's get better and more positive results then the actual police do but only because they have less rules to follow by. I think to much time is being wasted on entertaining guests.

Nothing the Mccann's do surprises me anymore nor the liberties they are allowed. I wish they would spend some of the fund to actually find madeleine.

I hope to God I'll never be in the same position as them but I think maybe they should concentrate on their other little ones now, what happens to them now is going to affect them for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately they don't seem to be able to do anything about Madeleine but they can with the other two, they need some sort of normality in their lives now, they can't keep living like this for the sake of the little ones they need a settled, secure life and at the moment they don't seem to be having one.

The police know more than you. Thats why the McCanns & Murat can travel the way they do.
The twins travelled with them. The article didn't mention it to give people like you something to rant about.
Their relatives paid for themselves. Don't bet your bottom dollar on spiteful accusations you cannot prove.
Your unfounded accusations confound me and your tirades are tiresome.

Did you want Kate McCann to give you a call & ask your permission to enter the UK? You guys keep complaining about the folks you call "pro-McCann" abusing you. Its posts like this that i find abusive & offensive amounting to slander.

From the blog on www.findmadeleine.com, Day 72:-

"Kate, the twins and myself attended a family baptism today in Yorkshire where we stood as Godparents. At the end of the short service, which was lovely, prayers were said for Madeleine."

Does that answer your first 2 question?

As for your 3rd question, as I have said before, if you did not contribute to the fund it is surely no concern of yours who is paying for the relative's travel. You would like it to be the fund paying so you assume that this is the case. What does it actually matter, anyway?

If it was doing any good in actually finding Madeleine then I do not think anyone would mind the money coming out of public funds . But sadly with all the publicity up to now I fear that it is unlikely she will ever be found alive . Have not answered any of these questions for awhile but Dave have been looking and still cannot believe the support they still get . Fact if little Madeleine had not been left alone then the poor little mite would never have been in this situation . And when you are on a family holiday that is EXACTLY what it is you spend your time ALL together .

raising awareness or raising funds? these two amount to the same thing really

sorry but who exactly in the uk can help them , they need to be in portugal answering questions and LOOKING

i understand this is a very emotional subject but the time has come to stop and asses the situation, they are getting nowhere with the investigation and awareness has been raised the whole of the uk are aware of the girls disappearance

why would anybody be envious of these people , its weak and flawed to call somebody envious of the Mc canns , i guess when people have no argument they do resort to insults
