I love house ferns but every time I buy one it isn't long before it gets reduced to about 1/3 it's foilage because leaves dry up and fall off even though I try to be routine about watering. Can anyone share some tips? Do you think I should maybe transplant them to the self-watering African Violet pots? Thanks!

I would really like to add a phone jack, or even just a wire coming out of the wall, in my garage. On the outside of my house, is the telephone companies service box and i opened it and saw that the red and green wires were being used, so i know its those i would need to tap into. Now, what is the easiest way to go through the wall in to the garage? should i go into the attic and find the telephone cables and tap into there, or tap into the wires from the outside and drill through the wall to the garage? I would like to do the second option, but i'm afraid i might drill through an important wire running some of the rooms in my house!!! the spot where the telephone service box is, is right underneath the main circuit breaker in the garage, the box with pretty much all the power running to the house!

WHAT DO I DO!?!? ANY help would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks,
Cory

p.s.- i DO NOT want to pay an electrician to add a line because last time it cost $175!!

Everybody tells me how good Sam's Club is. I went there today on a guest pass and took my calculator with me. I really dont see the savings compared to just shopping at Walmart. Do you think its worth the membership fee?
I think rich people like to buy the membership and shop there just so they can say they dont shop at Walmart.

Yes I am very much afraid of spiders (particularly ones that are larger than my fingernail) and this one was about 2 inches long. The vacuum didn't pick it up at first and it took a few tries for it to suck it in. I don't plan on getting over my fear, so please let me know if I need to plan on the spider finding its way out of my vacuum.

I came home from work last night, and my hubby told me that our two cats have been facing the wall all night. I turned the TV down and heard something scratching inside my wall. Well tonight, I hear it again along with an occasional squeak or something. It's driving me crazy! This wall is between my living room and my office and the thing has not moved from the same spot it was in last night. WHAT DO I DO NOW?!?!? I don't want to have to tear in to my wall. I would assume it came in from the attic but who knows! And what the heck is it?!?!? Somebody please help!!

I have an awful time keeping up with the bills and junk mail.
Bills go unpaid because the get lost or just simply get pushed back to the very back of the stacks. Things that need rsvp and attention seem to go unnoticed because I forget they are there in that huge pile of papers. I need a way to keep them organized in a small space.
