Every time I hang up a new basketball net, birds eventually take parts of it for their nests, and I'm left with a few strings. Is there any way to make the birds not want my net? Thanks.

Our neighbor (who's condo is attached to mine) has quite an unusual site. The other day, I had to go over and help diagnose a water leak when I notice this man had HUNDREDS of bags of clothing all over his basement.

I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but I kid you not, there are at least 100 plastic bags full of clothing in his basement!!!

I started looking in the bags and there were baby clothes, adult clothes, winter, summer....you name it, it was there in all shapes and sizes. Once he noticed me looking in a bag (and keep in mind they were all over the place) he slapped my hand and told me to 'get out of there'

Now, I'm worried about all this since not only are the clothes flammable, but the plastic bags they are in can't help a fire situation.

Considering my condo is right next to his, I fear that a fire to his basement will take out my unit too...what can I do?

I bought this town house a year ago. Last week my washer broke down. To fix this i had to move the laundry center. While moving it I just noticed that the dryer's vent is inside the house. Is this normal? No wonder while i did my laundry my house was all humid and hot. Is this a health risk. Also I have one year old too. How can i minimize the humidity and lint from flying all over? How much would it cost to take the vent outside of the house?

Lately I've been seeing these really big red ants with huge butts... Not a very professional description, I know. But I've never seen them before, and I hate ants over all the other insects. They don't look like fire ants, and they're creeping me out! Does anyone one know what kind they are?

I am keen to do my bit for climate change and have installed a solar panel. As i live in a very rough neibourhood i have found it too risky to put it outdoors so have put it in the loft where there are lots of windows but it never gets any sun. However it only produces power when i turn the light in the loft on??? Why??

In order to be sufficient I am powering the pump from the dynamo but its not working! what shall I do - i can't use electricity to pump it - not renewable!! HA

I have had dishwashers on both sides, and I really don't see that much difference. I am right handed. It doesn't matter what side we install the dishwasher; I am curious as to why a right handed person would want something to the left??

I have some patio accent lights but I don't have a power supply. The instruction that came with the lights calls for a 110v transformer or a solar center I'd really rather have the solar power scource. Can anyone tell me where to look? I've tried looking on e-bay.
