Every time I hang up a new basketball net, birds eventually take parts of it for their nests, and I'm left with a few strings. Is there any way to make the birds not want my net? Thanks.

You could get a chain net at most sporting goods stores for under $20.00. Here's one at Amazon if there aren't any sports stores for you nearby.

Just don't have a net... That would make things easier for you in the long run.. Though, it would be kind of difficult to say "nothing but net"! Good luck!

You could try hanging tinsel from your hoop. It scares them off.
