He put it down on Friday and says it may take a few days, they run like crazy at nite! It has been like this for almost 3 weeks now. I can't sleep like this, any ideas?? Oh and won't I smell dead mice when they do die? He claims I won't notice anything different other than be like hey they aren't running anymore, I disagree, I would think they will stink my Apt up! I don't know what to think now! He claims the poison eats them from the inside out and I won't smell a thing, please give me some guidance! Or tips or something!!

I live in a old building, in the city. My apartment is an old attic and I keep it very very clean. Every now and then I will find a dead mouse. There have been three since I moved in (in over a year). I know this is not a lot for my type of building and city life, but it still bothers me. I can't use poisons, glue traps, or snap traps becuase I have two cats and a chihuahua that will get hurt by any of them. I don't know how the mice are dying, maybe my cats are killing them but there is never any blood or bite marks, so if they are killing the mice it's by playing with them - not hunting. My cats are indoor only, the mice are not being brought in from outside. I have already tried to block holes with steel wool, but my playful kittes thought they were toys as yanked those out as well. I can never find out exactly where the mice are coming from but with this being an old attic my apartment has lots of funky corners and spaces. How can I keep mice out without harming my pets?

I purchased a tube feeder for the goldfinches and a tray feeder for the finches and sparrows, but I feel like I'm throwing nature out of whack by skewing the odds and providing a regular source of good seed. Their behavior isn't as natural as when they forage on their own and I worry about the spread of disease.

My daughters sofa won't go up the stairs of her purpose built ex council flat. The salesman said it would. The shop refuse to give back the full purchase price. They stated that their sales people never guarantee that their goods will go up stairs.
However when asking about another sofa we were told that this one would as the sofa came apart. When we double checked with the manager the following day he stated that this sofa didn't come apart. It appears the sales people lie to get a sale.

I own a cleaning service and would love to pass out some flyers. There are a lot of deed restricted communities in the area. If it is otherwise posted are deed restricted communities a no soliciting area? My partner and I have always wondered about that. We thought that maybe it was just a known rule. Can anyone help?

I never saw one of these types of fans until I
saw them in movies in the last few years..
The house I grew up in had a ceiling fan
installed directly into the ceiling instead
of hanging from the ceiling. It was 60" in diameter. We would run it in one direction in the summer and
the fan blew air through the house and out the
windows. Or instead, turn the fan off
when it got cool outside, then make
the fan pull air into the house from the
outside. When not in use, the fan has panels
that close.

I'm a fan freak, and I was mad because they
got central air. I liked the sound of the fan.

I know, how stupid. I guess the ants just startled me. I left a piece of pizza in it yesterday and opened it this morning and there were hundreds of the little tiny ants all inside. I was carefull, trying to only spray on the bottom of the microwave. But, now I realize how stupid that was. Any suggestions on how to steralize or should I just get a new one. It is built in with the cabinets over the oven. (they are sort of expensive).
