Invite Grams to stay for a couple of weeks. Treat her to a nice day at the Spa and a shopping spree. Be sure she inventories your spices before you go shopping and makes a list of what you need to bring yours up to her standards. Just be aware she's had many many years to achieve that wonderful, delicious, homey smell. It can't be duplicated over night. My Grams house was always "love at first smell" for me. The homemade bread baking was the biggest part of it, while the apple pie was also a great contributor.

I am assuming its a nice smell not your typical old lady smell!! If so then its all about the products she uses in her home washing powder, hairspray, perfume, furniture polish its just a case of sniffing out what the smell is from whether its just one thing or several smells mixed together. Good luck.

It must be something she sprays or perfume or something.
Ask her and she should be glad to share that with you.
It can also be from the food that she cooks.
