I have had dishwashers on both sides, and I really don't see that much difference. I am right handed. It doesn't matter what side we install the dishwasher; I am curious as to why a right handed person would want something to the left??

Whichever is most comfortable for you. If you prefer to work left to right, put the dishwasher to the right. This creates a natural flow for you, and the same is true if you prefer to work right to left; place it to your left.

Mine is to the left, It doesn't matter to me. The only thing that I do like about it is that most of my cabnits are to the right so I don't have to walk around it when it is open to put the dishes away.

I would put it to the left, because that is the natural flow of work, for someone who is right-handed.
