Considering that they don't bite, they eat nuisance bugs and don't cause any damage, do what I do to spec houses. Get a good shop vacuum and do a catch and release.
To prevent them from getting back in caulk the seams around your doors and windows. Also check the gaps when the doors and windows are closed, you may need to have hinges adjusted or the windows shimmed etc.
I'm hypersensitive to pesticides so I have to use 'alternative' pest control methods.

saaanen, I am sorry but you are wrong about Ladybugs coming inside a house. They come inside in the fall, stay the winter and then leave. I have found thousands of them in houses that was renovating. Most probable reason they are all over the outside walls is that the siding is probably wood lap and they crawl into the walls for the winter.

Why would you want to get rid of them? They eat the bad aphids!
Tell you what, you don't want 'em, send 'em to me! I'd love to have them. I'd even buy them nice little ladybug houses to put in my garden!

THEY ARE NOT LADYBUGS!!!! They are a canadian beetle. Ladybugs don't come in houses, and don't smell! Vacuum them up or spray all you want.

What?!?!??!
Ladybugs are a good omen... careful, you'll bring bad karma if you hurt them. Enjoy their beauty as a blessing. Give some to friends.

They are great for the yard and are a sign of good air in the area. They will leave when the free lunch is gone. What do you have in the yard they find so tasty?
