HI, your folks on here are my "support system", as I have no one at this time to run my questions by and I find that you also have excellent answers, so if you want to help, you can add me somehow so you can brainstorm with me. I have 2 guys coming to work in my yard tomorrow, and I want to "tell them what I want done". Curtis has rototilled for me and I was pleased, but this entails more, and I feel like he wants to get paid the big bucks to do the easy work. How can I approach this in a way so that we can both be happy. I am a strong, assertive female, altho I think he feels I don't know what I'm talking about and I do. I need suggestions on how to prioritize the list of to do and what attitude to have to "work with him". I want him to dig up my old flower bulbs before he tills a larger area and I think I should pay by the hour for this because if they dig slow and are lazy, I'll let them go away ! I used to do it all myself before I got sick so I know well what can be done.

I have had it for 3 years and it won't bud or bloom. How can I get it to flower? Otherwise it is healthy and growing.

Yes, I know it is probaly not the season for it to bloom now, but I'd like the info for later when the blooming season hits.

Hi, I live in the Asian tropics and the corridor just on the outside of my apartment only has 6 months of sun light each year; the rest of the year, it only has indirect light. Anyone know any nice plants to keep in such shady conditions? Thanks.

Assume everything else is equal -- btu's, humidification, appropriate placements of heating registers and vents, insulation, window/door placement, etc, which room would FEEL warmer or would there be no difference? Would one be more drafty than the other?

I have square white tiles on the walls of my bathroom. Lately when I clean them I have noticed that there looks like a vein going through some of them. It's not dirt and they are not cracked. Does anyone know what this is and why it is happening? Thanks.

They wanted to charge people to see it eat live chickens, but i just want it gone. will i get in trouble if i call someone? i also don't want my friends to get in trouble, how can i get rid of it?

Hi. We're trying to rid our attic of a mouse. Has anyone used one of the ultrasonic pest deterents? Do they work? Also, are there any that are battery powered, as we have no sockets in our attic? Thanks.

I've decided to start a candle business but have limited funds, so I'm looking for ideas as to what candle scents I should start out with. What are some that you know are popular that most people like? And what are some of your favorites that may not be so popular or are not so easy to find? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!
