In the summertime what is a good temp to keep the airconditionon?

I run mine at 80 degrees with ceiling fans,if i have lots of company at one time I will run it on 75,works for me!

Florida Power and Light suggests 78 degrees.

maybe Florida power and light wants you too sweat lots but mine stays on 70 all summer

in the winter we set our heating to 21 deg celcius because that comfortable to us, so probably the same for you air con unit.
