Hi, I live in the Asian tropics and the corridor just on the outside of my apartment only has 6 months of sun light each year; the rest of the year, it only has indirect light. Anyone know any nice plants to keep in such shady conditions? Thanks.

hostas are another possibility. I've had mine in direct sun for part of the day & shade the rest & they did great. Try hgtv.com & see if they have any suggestions for a tropical location. They have lots of gardening shows with many plans, pics, & tips for plants. I'm sure they'll have ideas that will work in your location.
