They are like vermin. They make so much mess and are ruining the paint work on cars. They fly around for half an hour (usually 5pm) before returning to the trees.
Can anyone suggest anything to help?
We have tried crow scarers, and next door has even bought a plastic owl that someone reccomended.
Thanks

Where I am working , used to be a warehouse. There were so many cracks and I am still filling them. There are still mouse around and they are not caught in the traps which I set up. I have used many different types, and used either cheese or penaunt butter. The droppings are still there, sometimes very close to the trap, but the mouse is still not caught.
Any suggestions?

I have a ton of child/ toddler clothes, a few adult male pants/jeans and some Age5-7ish clothes.

Anything else I had I threw in the trash- not worth putting out since only baby and child clothes and adult male pants tend to sell.

My question: If I put up a sign that said "All clothing items 25 cents, 10 cents for stained/ damaged items"

Is that low enough to move them? See any potential problems?

My wife and I own a dual-controlled electric blanket.

It normally works great however, lately the control that adjusts the temperature on her side after 2 - 3 mins starts flashing and never warms her side up. My side (which branches off her control) works just fine.

While it is flashing - I can't turn that control on or off. I have to unplug the entire blanket and then plug it back in.

Any ideas as to what is wrong?

We own 43 acres. 3 acres of pasture abd 40 acres of woods. We live in San Jacinto County Texas. I am thinking 3 acres will support 2 cows. We have plenty of water for them.

I need to find something for my mom for her birthday, and i know she wants a set of pots and pans because she is constantly hinting at it. My problem is that there are so many things to choose from, plus there are all these different types of pots and pans such as stainless steel, cast iron etc. can someone tell me which ones are the best or at least better and why they think so.

We live in south Texas and the driveway always shows rubber marks from the car pulling in and out, hate that, I like to put something on the driveway and garage area to hold up and not come off with hot tires and keep a clean look.

Hi, I got a Wesley Allen bed, the Andover model in a queen size, and the instructions were a little vague. Does anyone who has one of these beds or has sold them know, do I need to use the washers that came with the rest of the hardware? There's a bunch of washers, but no where in the instructions does it indicate where to use them or if you need them at all, but then again, why is there a bunch of them if you don't need them. I'm not handy at all so I have no clue if I need them. Any ideas? Please only answer if you have a Wesley Allen bed or you are familiar with them because, as I understand it, they have their own special "millenium frame" so I don't know if this will make a difference in answering my question. Oh, by the way, I got the complete bed with headboard, footboard, and frame if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance. :)

We had a new house built. when it is windy, I hear the siding against the house rattle and it makes an awful noise like someone beating sheet plastic while scraping and tapping metal nails against the wood against the house. it is loud and actually keeps me up when Im trying to sleep at night. I spoke to a neighbor who says they don't have this problem. the builder foreman says he doenst think he is "going to find anything" I m not educated enough about building to know what is wrong and how to fix & because of this I dont nkow how to get this resolved. I should nt have to feel like I need to persuede them to try. I do know something is wrong. Please, any experienced people in any field of knowledge, Help!
thanks

I've bought a few here and there, but they always take 2 or 3 seconds to light, so my family has switched them to closets, which are hardly ever on anyway. Any good brands with no delayed lighting?

I am asking this because my health teacher asked this and I don't know the answer. Some of my guesses are that it could catch on fire or that food will be heated more than the food you put in the microwave. Your input is grately thanked. :D
